Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara | Volumizing + Defining

I think just the pictures say enough for the quality of this product but I just also want to say, I have tried soooooo many different types of mascara and I have always always loved Clinique the best. A cheap alternative is E.L.F. but if you can afford it, it will last you a long while and there are no clumps but if that is an issue, using a clean extra mascara/eyelash brush to smooth everything out and also the way you apply absolutely does matter.

I love this mascara. I have naturally long lashes and I don't need a bulky mascara, I just need definition and separation. As most women have, I've spent many years looking for the right mascara. This brush is perfect. It isn't too big like some mascaras. Sometimes I feel like I can't even fit the massive mascara brushes between my eyelids because they're so huge. This brush is thinner in size and easy to maneuver. A+ for being user friendly. The color is a nice black and the formula is fairly thin, so you can layer it without it getting clumpy. You won't have clumps that you can't ever separate and they won't look fake. You will just have perfect and beautiful lashes every day. I will buy this as long as it's on the market.

I have been on the hunt for a good mascara for months. I’ve been Lâncome’s a pouter noir for years but have to order it from over seas. Tightening my budget had me trying many cheaper ones, my lashes are naturally medium to long and straight. The brush and texture of the mascara make a great combination. It separates my lashes and allows for several applications without clumping!

This has excellent separation and wont clump but even with three coats [dry in between], which is more than I have the patience for daily, it really isn't very thickening/dramatic which is what I had been hoping for. This mascara is my favorite so far. It applies smoothly, doesn't smudge, and washes off easily. I especially like that the black is so intense. I have tried tons of mascara and none of them have been so deeply black. I recommend this to anyone who needs separation or wants a basic rich black mascara. It has about the same look as my old favorite [Tarte Lights Camera Flashes] but Clinique is richer-black and only takes one step to apply. [Tarte is difficult to wash off and has a two sided brush which is a hassle] I like it but I have fine, short lashes and I really am trying to find something more dramatic.

I'll admit it: I'm a fickle cosmetics customer. Even if I am happy with a product, I can be lured away easily by the glittering promises of a shiny new chance at cosmetic perfection. I've tried dozens (SEVERAL dozen, in fact) of mascaras, only to be disappointed. If they don't smudge and cause raccoon eyes, they clump into the equally winsome spider eye look, or they crumble off and leave a dusting of black speckles spattered over my cheekbones, or have such a strong chemical smell they make my eyes water and burn, or are so hard to remove that I lose a handful of eyelashes along with the mascara. Clinique High Impact is one of a very few I have found that perform well, actually does thicken and lengthen my lashes, has decent staying power but can be easily removed with a gentle cleansing. It doesn't irritate my eyes or my annoyingly sensitive under eye area and although it costs more than many drugstore brands, is reasonably priced when compared to most high end mascaras. After every foray I make into the testing grounds of new mascara, I end up turning back to this reliable standby. If you're looking for a new mascara, it's definitely worth considering.

I was looking at reviews for mascaras for older women. The main concern was not causing damage to my lashes and having them fall out. This mascara is gentle on my lashes but stays on very well. My eyes water a lot sometimes so I have always worn water proof. I am very satisfied with how long I can wear this product without having to reapply or fix black runs. The other thing I like is that there are NO clumps! It goes on so smooth it doesn't even look like I'm wearing makeup other than that my own lashes are enhanced by the color. If you're looking for thicker, longer looking lashes this may not be for you, but I love this mascara.

I am a mascara snob! This mascara makes my lashes long and full! No clumping as I can’t stand the spider eye build up look. And it washes away easily with just soap!

I bought this mascara because the girl who runs the OnlyPans Instagram cooking account uses it and has AMAZING eyelashes and said it was due to this mascara. However, I have tried it a full week and had nothing but clumpy eyelashes that flake off into my eyes/contacts throughout the day. I’m either going to through this away or try a different brush, but I really don’t believe the brush is the problem. Please save your money and skip it on this overpriced mascara. I know I wish I had!
