مقبس طاقة محمي من الأمطار أو العوامل الجوية خاصة إذا كان في مكان مفتوح أو خارج البناية ( مثل افياش الغطاسات التي تكون بجوار خزانات الوحدات المشتركة ) وايضاً مزود بقاطع كهرباء وهو مفيد إذا كان احد السكان في الوحدات المشتركة مسافر وعلقت عنده العوامة في الخزان العلوي ماسبب في طفح المياة من الخزان فبإمكان احد السكان قطع الكهرباء عن الغطاس .
