Very durable & will last a good while!The handles spin very well for fast and nonresistance jumps!I love this rope, my friends love this rope, and I would highly recommend the 1LB for nice cardio & strength training.

I own both jump ropes, and there’s a noticeable difference in weight between them. This one is ideal for restarting my fitness journey. It doesn’t tangle and seems very durable. I would recommend it.

Rope seems to be good quality, I like it, why one star? I bought a hererope 1/2lbs and like it a lot. I wanted to try a 1 pounder so that’s what I ordered according to the description. I cut it to length, (only a couple inches length was pretty close)jumped with it-it works great but felt suspiciously familiar. So I weighed it. My new one pound rope is 2 ounces lighter than my 1/2 pound rope. I’d return it but already cut it to length.

5’10”I bought the medium 1 lb jump rope because I purchased the 1/4 lb rope a few months ago at a Large and cut it down to exactly what a medium is.Being 5’10” this length works best for me but if this is your first rope, I’d stick to the sizing chart provided as these rope can be cut down to your needs.Id buy this brand again because …. I really like this jump rope. I use a weighted rope at my gym sometimes and the metal connection sometimes hits my finger somehow and leaves welts. However, this jump rope is made well and doesn't hit my hand at all! Still hurts to be whacked by a heavy rope when you mess up the jump though. The size small works well for me at 5'2 and it came with instructions about how to shorten it if needed. I didn't need to though so I can't comment on how difficult or easy it would be to cut through the cable and reassemble things. It didn't look too difficult though. My only issue is that its definitely not a 1lb rope in total. I weighed the whole rope (so with the handles) and it came out to .6lbs. I'm not sure if this is a manufacturing error because the item description says the rope should be .5-.6lbs and total weight 1-1.1 lbs. It might just be that I got the size small though. I'm assuming the largest size would be heavier due to the extra length. Overall, if you don't care about it being exactly 1 lb, I'd highly recommend it. It swings smoothly and the handles feel premium and comfortable. Quick tip, if the cable won't unfurl, just hang it on something for a few hours and it'll straighten out no problem.
