I have used this product for my new gaming rig, to be honest the reviews I have read here saying that the power supply is as loud as a jet etc, is a bunch of BS... When you have seven silent running fans working on PWM, a graphics card currently a GTX670 FTW still waiting for the RTX3080 to arrive!! the water going through the water cooling pipes is the loudest thing on the machine it tends to say that the power supply is quite!! with the extra power and stability from the supply it enabled auto clocking 10th gen i7 CPU straight to 5.1Ghz where the old 750watt supply it replaced barely got it putting out at 3.8Ghz base clock. Prior planning on the installation would be what I suggest, and the only one of two bug bears I had fitting the power supply, know what you want to connect first and connect the plugs to the power supply before placing it in to your tower this will save you a lot of time and bad words being said, followed by your good lady bringing you beer thinking sticks placing you on the naughty step for 20 minutes! The other is that this power supply only arrived with a European plug, which is fair enough as it is half the price of mainstream competitors out there but as modern European plugs are earthed and rated to 250v switching for UK plug is no issues. The cables are there for it being RTX3080 ready in fact there are that many 8/6+2 dual connectors in the box you will have a life time supply and future proof your rig if they ever bring out an SLI version of the RTX3080! I feel you get yourself a bargain while they are at this price as one post has pointed out they have been priced at over £200 in the past, on par with mainstream power supply makers for less max power output.

Original price £289.00 reduced to £119.99 well the power supply itself looks ok nothing really special there, easy to install with multiple outputs for drives and other devices. However despite the description stating that it has a silent 150mm fan, tinis thing should come with a health warning because the noise it generates is ridiculous.My advice is save your money and buy something branded that won't give you a headache after 20 mins use, not fit for gaming or home office use, i'm going to replace with a new drive next pay day and keep this as a spare.

I advise you to replace the fan with a controlled one. There will be no noise that the miner’s power supply is designed for continuous load, so 100% of the fan is running
