PS41-2A 12V Max Impact Driver Kit

I have worked on bowling machines for the last 13 years and this impact driver is great. It gets into hard to reach places of the machine and allows me to get the job done faster. The torque on this little Bosch PS41 it awesome! It has un-seized nuts that have not been removed in years over and over with ease, and really does drive in 3 inch wood screws fast and with no hesitation. A fellow mechanic owns a small impact driver from a very well know and a much more expensive company and this Bosch beats it every time. The battery life on thing is great. It will last. Bosch puts a little LED "Fuel" gauge on the side. I love this feature, it tells me just how much battery life is left. So when, and if I have to change the battery during a job and I just swap batteries with out the annoying "die down" of the charge. I just check the gauge and when I get to one light, I swap. The charger is pretty fast too, about 30 to 40 min. Another great feature is the LED lights on the front. Some parts of the machine are usually ill lit so this helps out a lot. I have also found myself using it as a flashlight at times. It does have a little delay when the trigger is pressed, but only a fraction of a second, so minor I didn't even notice till I read about it. The only other con is the soft carrying case it comes with, but for me I just leave the impact driver in my toolbox. The Bosch PS41 is by far one of the best power tools I have ever owned, and I have gone though many in the past years. This impact driver is light, compact, tough (I have dropped it from 5-6 ft a couple of times and still running no problems), and powerful. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone, even if you were just using it around the house. I hope this helps.

I purchased this tool because I process a lot of scrap metal, which means I need to quickly and efficiently disassemble a lot of items ranging from BBQ grills and lawn mowers to home appliances. I have used this tool for about 24 months now, and have found it to stand up to a beating on a daily basis. Its compact size and long battery life have cut my dis-assembly time by about 75% over hand tools. One advantage this particular driver has over its competition is its compact size. I can and do use this tool in tight spaces where other drivers will not fit. I also recommend this model over an 18v driver for that reason. Bigger is not always better. This driver has replaced the tool box I used to carry with a small divided container for bits and sockets. Its light weight and power have also significantly reduced hand fatigue and arm pain associated with the over use of hand tools. My wife has found this to be a handy tool around the house for small jobs such as installing cabinet and drawer latches, and mounting curtain rods. I generally get about two and a half to three hours of nearly continuous use between charges, which take about 30 minutes. If you are using it for driving large wood screws you will go through the batteries much more quickly. In the two years I have owned this tool the batteries performance has held up remarkably. I have owned other cordless tools where the batteries deteriorated making the tool nearly useless. This has not been the case with this driver. Bottom line, if you need a tool for assembly/dis-assembly/installation this is the top tool on the market, if you are looking to build a deck buy a corded driver. Update: 2016 and this tool is still going strong. Battery life is as good as ever. This is a must have tool.

This is a very good impact. I use them for work every day. I had one last 7 years it still worked but had to squeeze the trigger a couple times for it to work. The battery's are still good hold a charge very well plenty of speed and power. It will drive a 3 inch drywall screw in wood but would not make a rabbit of it. Be careful when you buy them they do have a residential version of these 12 volt impacts that I do not recomend.

Great little tool! Lightweight but very powerful. Great hand feel. Originally purchased different brand with 18v batteries - very disappointed bc I received defective batteries and manufacturer would not simply replace immediately upon receipt. Bought the Bosch which arrived in 2 days - came charged out of the box and was able to finish my project immediately! Should have gone with my instincts and bought a name brand.

I have owned this for 7 years now bought it back in 2018 and it has been absolutely amazing. The batteries last damn near forever and the power is more than enough for normal use. I am a personal mechanic and have used this gun to help me rebuild a head, new exhaust, transmission, suspension, plenty of house work and in fact, I just got done installing a projector into a wooden beam which pushed me to writing this review. Yes occasionally you will need to use a breaker bar to get it started but for the price point that is expected. Truthfully I am just impressed that not a single metric of measuring the capabilities of this impact gun has diminished in the 7 years I have owned it. On top of that it is very compact and light so it’s easy to take anywhere! Impact driver uses up the battery way faster than drill does but works fine to install self tapping screws in Versatube frame.

Nice compact impact driver. Use this over the course of a day helping to build a ramp with overhead loft area. It had no problem driving the screws. The size and weight is perfect for getting into spaces as well as for youth to use. Battery life seemed adequate, but it is was nice to have a couple or more batteries available.

If you're looking for a nice small impact driver this is the impact driver for you. It's nice and compact and has the extra battery which is a good feature if you need extended work. It's power is limited such as taking wheel nuts off your car (not enough power for that) but if you're using it just for assembling something it's perfect. It's good for when there's tedious repetitious nuts to take off or put on. Don't make the mistake of buying this thinking it's a drill, it can be used for putting in screws etc. Overall it has a good quality feel to it and I would recommend buying this if you're looking for an small impact driver.

The charger I recieved is completely different to what Amazon advertised in the photos, It uses a power brick instead of a regular plug so I cant plug in anything next to this ... I dunno why they changed the design of it..

Have been setting routes with this driver, it's well balanced, compact, powerful, rigid enough tool. I have had it for couple month putting about 200 hours of usage. Will see how it lasts.. One battery lasts about 3-5 hours, charges extremely quickly though. I have a few friends who put this driver to a lot of use, and they all satisfied with Bosch Driver.
