Fits on Fluval 407
Love it!! I’ve lost 4 fishies cause my filter piece didn’t fit correctly. I took the jump and fits PERFECT for my Fluval 407!! Of course I had to zip tie it with the help of suction cups but the filter part is perfect!!

I was replacing parts for my Fluval 306 canister filter and this was a perfect fit as compared to the factory piece. I was able to take this strainer off that had become gunked up with algae and fit this piece right on the intake tube. Everything is working great and the price was great. There were not alterations or modifications that needed to happen, just plug it and let it go.

It is a good purchase
It is great but I feet the gap between lines is a bit larger so the food sometimes goes in the filter.

Don't depend upon the stated delivery date.
The part is great, although now black instead of clear. Just don't expect to have it on-time or anytime soon thereafter.

Fits standard Fluval pipe but intake cage is 20 to 30 % larger. I like it.

Attn: Fluval Filter Owners: You Need This!
If your filter is having trouble starting even when you are priming your heart out on the dam* thing, it’s because you need to replace this part. The check ball helps retain water for the filter when it’s trying to start. I figured it out the hard way lol. Don’t waste money on cheap other intake strainers- your filter wont work right! (Or start.)
