More power per inch than anything else on the market
An amazingly powerful machine in the palm of your hand... I already had an M2 mini that was doing great but with concerns about potential price increases coming down the pike I decided to go ahead and pick this up while I could and I'm glad I did! It's whisper quiet (as all minis are), takes mere seconds to boot, and has been a joy so far. I expect several years of great use from it before my next upgrade when I'll convert it to a Plex server or something else.

Great buy for a small office running Macs
I was able to get information transferred pretty easily. The configuration was smooth, there are a few more security hoops to jump thru to get third party software operating, as security is tighter than older macs. Thunderbolt disk transfer is very fast to an SSD drive that can handle the speed. HDMI monitors are plug and play, the one I got for the mini was under $100, but still shows a great picture. Hardwired mouse and keyboard can be plugged in the front if you want. Add a webcam and you have all the functionality of an all-in-one mac for at least half the price. Remember, you can't add memory, so get what you need up front for applications and high-speed editing (videos and sound come to mind). SSD memory can be added with a fast external drive (Thunderbold goes up to 40Gb/s). You won't notice much of a speed difference editing text and spreadsheets. And SSD drives can be added to Time Machine backups, if you have a large drive for backups.

Nice form factor but software integration seems to have issues (slow load, etc.)

Great buy.
This was a great purchase. Picked this up because my old mac mini was moving like a snail on top of a Turtle in quicksand. I use this solely for music production and recording. I've glad I decided to upgrade. I just wish it had more ports, front and back. I had to get 2 USB ports to make sure all of my equipment would remain usable. That's the only complaint I have.
