I bought a set of 4 of these earthy coasters and absolutely love them. I keep two in my living room and the other two on my kitchen bar; my family and guests always notice them. They look great, have a nice natural vibe, and actually work. They come with sandpaper so you can lightly refresh the surface if needed, which is such a smart touch! And they never lose their ability to soak up water. I’d tried a different brand before and it started leaving marks and fading after a few uses, but not these. They still look brand new!. They don’t slip either (the little black grips you attach yourself work perfectly). Overall, a total win-win. They fit my home aesthetic and do exactly what they promise. Super durable and functional. I’ve already recommended them to friends and family

These are nice coasters. The light grey color, the irregular shapes, and the incredible absorbency of diatomaceous earth (DE) make these attractive, stylishly fun, and very useful. Although I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere in the product description, the set of 8 coasters also includes strips of stick-on cushions that you optionally can add to the bottom, and also a piece of sandpaper to buff off any stains that they might get. I see other reviews that claim these are “painted wood” or “not real stone”; those comments are not accurate. I’m a geologist, and can tell you that there are a number of “real rocks,” including diatomite/ DE, that are very low density i.e., extremely lightweight. I have other DE products for other applications, and I’m happy to add these coasters to my collection of useful household products.

These coasters are super cute and functional. They make any space more chic and modern looking. They're very durable and super absorbent. I also love that it comes with sand paper to help refresh the coasters if needed.

I have some white square diatomaceous earth coasters and I bought these for coffee coasters, for staining. They aren’t as absorbent as the others I own. They’re fine, but I thought they were going to have a more organic look to them. They’re all exactly the same machine cut shape, and they have an unnatural shininess to them. They do the job, but they’re not nice enough for gifting. EDIT: the store reached out to me offering a full refund because I was unhappy with my purchase. I'm actually not unhappy with my purchase. I got exactly what I expected for the price of the item, but I'm raising my rating from 3 to 4 stars because they are clearly proud of their products and concerned with their customers' satisfaction. Good customer service is hard to find.

I love the modern look of these coasters and it’s a great value for the price. They’re durable and seem fairly sturdy given how lightweight they are. My only issue is they stain horribly. I’ve tried cleaning them with water and Lysol wipes with zero luck. A previous reviewer suggested bleach so I might give that a try. I’m hoping I can’t find some sort of sealant to use to protect them in the future. I’m just surprised the manufacturer didn’t think of that given the fact that stains are pretty likely when dealing with drinks.

So far they work perfectly. If there’s any surface stains the set comes with a fine sandpaper to wipe with which removes surface stains. Really works well.

These are great so far. My glass no longer sits on a moist, mildew-promoting mess that was my previous coaster. They look nice too

No me encantaron. Creo que si cumplen la función de absorber el agua, pero la textura no me gustó se siente como si tocaras un gis (de pizarron), se manchan y ya valieron.

This item stained first time used with a cup of coffee. Can’t be washed. Not a great product.

Had to install the rubber feet. Also had sand paper to fix the rough edges.
