Great product requires a dedicated app
Amazing lens for iPhone found it by accident and ended up buying the 1.33 and macro as well. To be honest I never used the 1.33 or the macro but the 1.55 is really a must. It upgraded my NY trip (used on iPhone 16 pro with BlackMagic Cam app). I love the case as well and the bubble to level the lens is also great. They thought about everything

Good quality. Blue streaks are a little harsh.
Nice anamorphic lens (1.33x blue) Quite sharp with good clarity. I took off one star only due to my personal preferences I find that the blue 'streaks'/flares are a little harsher than I'd prefer (yes, that's nit-picky but just my honest opinion). The top and bottom of the streaks don't fade (up and down) like real cinematic lenses do. Like a soft flare. Granted: this is a 130 dollar lens, not a cinema lens that cost many thousands of dollars. I believe most anamorphic lenses for phones are pretty similar in this regard (from many video reviews online). Some of my thoughts that hopefully help someone trying to decide about purchasing (or not): The question: Is it worth it? Depends on what you are doing. If you typically only take photos, I wouldn't buy any anamorphic lens. This is just my opinion and here's why: I don't think it's great for still images. It's ok and if it does what you want for your photos, that that all that matters. I would recommend instead that you put the money toward a photo editing app that you can adjust your photos and add flare if you want to (just my 2 cents if you don't have a photo editing app). I find it better for videos where the flare/streaks come and go depending on the light causing them ...like in many movies. In a still image I find them to harsh and somewhat strange looking (most times, not always). A few things to keep in mind (I believe this is for all phone anamorphic lenses available currently): For videos, you'll want an app that can "desqueeze" ex: Blackmagic (free), Filmic, Procamera, etc. You'll probably want a gimbal to keep video footage smooth. A phone cage/handle will work if you can be very smooth. I went with blue just because I like it. If you'll be filming primarily sunny scenarios (beaches, etc) either the neutral or gold might suite you better). That's all personal preference and what look you want to achieve. The way an anamorphic lens works makes the horizontal lines somewhat rounded as you look further from the center -out towards the left and right edges of the image. They are kind of a wide angle lens, but not totally. What that means: If you aim towards a light source and get the blue streaks, they will be horizontal only while the light source is in the center of the image, if the light is above/below center, the streaks will be a little rounded ..or "bend" towards the horizontal center line. This is referring to "bending" as you get further from the center of the frame (closer to the left and right of the frame). This is true for all horizontal lines ..a horizontal fence, the top of a wall, building, etc. It can also make some videos/images look a bit off for "leading lines" ..if they are straight ..they won't be in your footage. It isn't a lot, but as the photographer/videographer you may notice it. Just things to be aware of if you're thinking about purchasing (any anamorphic lens). Hope this helps. The lens is quite good for a phone lens and I am happy with it.

iPhone anamorphic
Perfect anamorphic lens for iPhone with Beastcage. Ease of use and assurance of proper fit is helped by leveling bubble. The lens should have detent or way to lock lens in place once level is set. You can accidentally hit out of alignment so be careful to check level between takes if you are running handheld

BEWARE! Not a Zoom Lens!
Despite what the Amazon page says, this product is not a zoom lens. It's a telephoto lens, but it does not zoom. The Amazon page for this product is deliberately deceitful.
