I purchased the Vive Bedside Commode for a family member. True to their advertisement it was super easy to put together! It’s very sturdy and fits well in the bedroom right next to the bed. Easy to keep clean with the removable parts. This was a great purchase! Has a video to watch on line how to assemble and questions answered. I forgot to mention the reasonable price. Very affordable. I liked that it fit great over my toilet which doesn't have much room between the toilet and the sink. It is adjustable to many different heights, lightweight, easy to assemble, cleans very well, and folds up to boot. The seat is a little flimsy but works for the person using it who is about 180 lbs. I don't think it would be good for someone much bigger than that.

I ordered while in the hospital and had the express delivery so it was ready for me when I got home a few days later. It's sturdy and does the job. I wish there was a little more room as I am large but it works as expected.

Bought this for my 88 year old mother who recently fell in the bathroom. We had previously used an elevated toilet seat with handles that clamped to the toilet but it wasn’t sturdy enough if she pushed unevenly on the arms. This commode chair is very sturdy yet light enough to move back and forth from bathroom to bedroom for use at night. I like that it is very easy to clean with all smooth edges. The only down side we have found, that although she is not heavy (130lbs) if she sits on it with the seat cover down, it bends a bit because it is not exactly the same shape as the seat. All in all though, a very good purchase.

The bucket arrived smashed but not broken. I can’t straighten it all the way but it will work with a liner if he uses it at bedside. But there wasn’t a splash guard, which I really need for my elderly relative to use over the toilet

So far, this commode chair is working well for us as an over-the-toilet support for my husband, who is very weak after a long illness. Because of muscle weakness, he needs a higher seat than our toilet, as well as arms to help him get up from sitting. This commode chair allows him to be independent with his bathroom needs, and that is a great benefit to someone on the mend! It arrived on time, was easy to put together and adjust for height, and is sturdy enough to feel comfortable and secure. I like that its legs go straight down and don’t add a tripping risk by sticking out at an angle. Its frame is wide enough for my own hips, which I like, since we share a bathroom. My husband says he wishes the seat opening were a little bigger; I believe that is a function of the standard-size bucket and seat arrangement. It might also be a “guy thing,” considering male anatomy! Overall, we have been very pleased with the purchase and its affordable price.

The bedside commode came on time and has proved to be invaluable. Th set up is extremely easy. The quality of workmanship is excellent. And most importantly it does the job it is advertised for. This is not an item you would consider until it becomes essential, but when it does the little things you don't want to have to think about become extremely important. This is one item I hoped I would never need but extremely pleased with both product quality and resulting enabling function.
