Practical Elemental Magick: Working the Magick of the Four Elements in the Western Mystery Tradition

Amazing Book!
I've used the four elements with crystals for years. This book instructs you on the practical theory behind the four energies. Although the authors use ancient esoteric writings for their sources, they break the theory down into an easy conversational style. You will understand it! This book also provides a list of the four elemental energies that you normally use in your everyday life. If you're out of balance, do more of another energy! For me, there was the added bonus of learning the specific energies of each of the Greek gods. That explains why each Greek god did what he did. For a small book, I learned a lot! I bought the Kindle version. I can highly recommend this book!

A good book to balance your elements
I can use the pyramid practices and incorporate it into my balancing of my elements. It looks like something that I can do monthly. Don't really care for the Angelic or using the Christian Angels and calling them fourth. I didn't particularly like the license to depart as a command. I've met those I've called on depart when they were ready, with no downside. Other than that it's a wonderful book to have to your collection of elemental Magick.

I'm Impressed
I bought this a few years ago and have only now gotten to sitting down with it. So sorry I waited! This is not a the beginner level book I'd assumed it was. It's concise but thorough. It fills in a lot of gaps that beginner books don't fill and adds both new insight and information that, after reading many books on elemental magic/balancing I hadn't come across yet. It's a bit dry and could use more real life examples to help explain a point but that's such a minor complaint in an otherwise well written, extremely informative book. This is a new favorite!

Dagger = air, not wands
I haven't read the whole book yet, but I've noticed a slight error regarding elemental tools: she has put wands symbolizing air, and the dagger, fire. The dagger is air, and wands symbolize fire.

In-depth
I found this book to be very educational and it brought to light just how complex this belief system really is. There are so many schools of thought, this just blew me away.

classical soutces, good references
No, this is NOT a spell book for would be teenage witches. Instead it's a well researched and well written guide to the ancient views and uses of the four elements and their impact on belief and practice then and now. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to learn classical wisdom that affects our lives today.

Great Reference low price
I love this one, very thorough, educational, and useful. I reference it often for understanding old grimoires and tarot. This book traces elements back to classical times and shows the use of elements in magic is not just a 19th century invention. The correspondences are useful for alchemy, magic, witchcraft, and understanding the tarot as well. A must read for any occultist. And a great price, it is worth far more than the cost of the kindle download.

Brilliant
I gave this book 5 stars because 6 were not available. I'm half way through and already know that this is a book that I will be referencing for years to come. I have it as an e-book at present but will be putting it on my list to get as a real one.If you are looking for a book on the 4 elements, get this one.

The four elements
I purchased this book because I was looking for information on earth, air, water and fire. This is an informative book about this subject and well explained. I like the comparison tables to simplify comparisons of the different elements.

Great workbook
I ordered this for my kindle. it was so usefeul to have as a workbook, so i then ordered the paper copy. It guides you through the elements on various levels, and how to work with them. If you work with Magick then its like a reference book that you will continue to go back to, to progress through the excersises.

Love it.
How often do people try to jump over elemental magick? As the elements in science bring us the building blocks of life, so does this book bring us building blocks of magick. Love it.
