I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and functionality of this piece. The rustic wood finish adds a warm, charming feel to my bedroom, giving it that cozy farmhouse vibe I was aiming for. Assembly was straightforward, with clear instructions and all hardware included. Just a long process. Mostly, set it up by myself and it took me 3hrs because of all the small parts. The materials feel sturdy and well-crafted — it’s clear this isn’t just a pretty bed, but one that’s built to last. The headboard has a lovely distressed look without appearing overly worn, and the platform design eliminates the need for a box spring, which I really appreciated. One of the standout features is definitely the 80” storage chest and the four large drawers. They’re incredibly spacious and slide smoothly, offering ample storage for extra linens, blankets, and even seasonal clothes. It’s a practical solution for anyone looking to maximize bedroom space without sacrificing style. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s a perfect blend of rustic elegance and smart design. Highly recommend for anyone who loves farmhouse décor and values both beauty and utility in their furniture! My final suggestion, price is a little high even though the quality is sturdy and nice. If you’re not in a hurry, wait it out and buy it at a discount as there are discounts going around every now and then.

We bought this queen size bed for our daughter who is attending university 3k miles away. I was a little worried about our daughter being able to assemble this bed by herself but I read a review of a senior lady who was successful at putting the bed together all by herself so I figured it would be okay. (Spoiler alert: it was!) The bed arrived in 2 big boxes. Our daughter was very impressed how well everything was packed. She said each piece was wrapped and padded very carefully and every piece was in perfect condition! Everything was labeled and easy to sort, also. Our daughter set out to build this bed and 6 hours later she had it all done! It was a learning experience for her and she did end up calling her dad to ask for some clarification on one of the steps. Otherwise, she said the directions were pretty clear and she took her time to do each step correctly before moving on to the next step. Our daughter is so happy with this piece of furniture! She has told me on numerous occasions how beautiful it is and she is impressed by the quality and design, too. It's a very heavy and very well made piece of furniture. She loves the extra storage the attached bench provides and how cool it looks! She is beyond thrilled with her new bed! She says that she is delighted to see her new bed every time she enters her room. She's also told me that her friends all think it's so nice and love it too! She was so pleased that we went ahead and purchased the matching nightstand for her, as well. (And we hit another home run with that piece of furniture too! Also beautiful and well made!) I wanted to wait a while before submitting a review, just to make sure my daughter was still satisfied and happy with it. And she definitely is! The quality of this bed is astonishing. Very well made, not cheap and flimsy like most beds in Ashley or rooms to go. Especially for the price! Only downfall is it takes several hours to put together in full.

Previously, I have only bought one piece of furniture online and typically buy from a brick and mortar retail store. This gives me the chance to see it in person and try it out. While I was very hesitant to buy this King sized bed online, it was really my only option because nearly every furniture store in our area has closed. Our house is in fact a 120 year old farm house and this semi-modern farmstyle bed fit the aesthetic we were looking to add to our room. The bed arrived in two (2) boxes and you should definitely eat your Wheaties because they are HEAVY. We had to open the boxes and carry the individual pieces up to our second floor because there was no way we were getting them up the stairs without a dolly and using that would probably damage our stairs. One of the things I was absolutely dreading was putting this bed together with instructions that I assumed would be terrible and ambiguous. To my surprise, they were incredibly well documented and had very clear and easy to decipher pictures of what needed to be done in each step. There was only one issue that I had encountered with the parts identified with the letter "U". These are beauty caps that cover the 8 connection points where the left and right side rails attach to the headboard and foot storage section. It was only after the bed was fully put together that I noticed I had unused parts and had to go back through the instructions to figure out where we had missed their placement. It wasn't a big deal because they are non-strucutal but the graphic instructing their placement was very small and I missed it. I didn't feel like pulling the box springs and mattress back off just to place these so I saved them and at a later date when I need to move it or something I'll place them at that time All of the hardware parts are given a letter code. The instructions reference these letter codes to indicate what hardware is applicable to the current step. This, coupled with the well depicted instructions, made putting this bed together very easy. BUILD QUALITY: While the bed is made of particle board wood, the finish on the pieces is very well done. It's smooth, clean, and and looks professional. In addition, the bed is very sturdy and solid. I'm not a carpenter but it feels like they may have used a thicker dimension of particle board which may be what translates to the durable and sturdy feel of the pieces. It may also account for the weight noted earlier. Another aspect I was impressed with is the drawer rails. I was expecting dado groove rails but was happy to see actual ballbearing slide rails. No they are not soft-close rails but they are of better quality than one might expect from this price point. If you wanted to you could go to your local hardware store and upgrade these yourself to the soft-close style. You just need to take the rails that came with the kit and match them up to the rails at the hardware store. In all honesty though this would be an unnecessary upgrade unless you really have a thing for soft-close drawers. It's fairly evident that the holes for the hardware and other assembly points are CNC routed. The cuts are clean and each piece fits very nicely together with no overlap or gaps noted. TOOLS: The bed does come with all the tools necessary to construct the bed frames in its entirety. However, if you have your own tools, use those. I didn't expect them to put high quality tools in the hardware kit to put the bed together. While they will do in a pinch they're uncomfortable to use and if you have your own tools you'll find it much easier to put the bed together. It's a nice-to-have but not a requirement. In addition there are some portions of the instructions which indicate that some of the dowels need to be glued. Dont worry as the hardware kit does supply two (2) tubes of carpentry glue for this purpose. It's more than enough to cover the build. SUMMARY: I was very surprised at the overall quality of the product given the price point. I felt that the bed was well made for the material in which it's constructed. The instructions were very well laid out and easy to understand. Again, the two boxes this bed comes in are very heavy.
