I am so impressed with this liquid contour & bronzer! I bought it in the shade 2 fair/light. This is a pretty good bronzer, and made me look a bit subkissed despite being indoors. Would repurchase.

I wasn't expecting this to work so well with my skin tone, as it appears fairly light in the tube and when swatched (I'm a medium-light to medium skin tone, for reference). But to my amazement, it was my natural contour shade! I also appreciated how pigmented it was, along with its blendability. It's buildable too! All this to say, if you need a true cool-toned liquid contour, this one is for you! Highly recommend. 🙌

I like the formula, it's easy to blend out, but the shades themselves are frustrating to work with. Looking at the photos provided by Amazon and e.l.f., I thought that the shade "1 Fair" was going to be a cool grey brown, good for contouring my face. When I blended it out, it ended up being too light for me, and more of a warm grey brown. Contouring is about enhancing already there shadows, or tricking the eye into thinking that there are shadows where there aren't any. The shadows that fall on my face are more cool-tone, so a warmer color doesn't look as natural on me when I'm trying to sculpt my jaw or make my cheekbones more defined. I'm hesitant to try another shade because all of the other shades advertised look too warm for my skin tone. I understand that this product is marketed both as a contour and bronzer, so the shades have to strike a balance between being shadowy enough to shade the face, and being sun-kissed enough to give a healthy glow. I just wish that I was provided with a photo of what the colors look like blended out, along with the swatches on different skin tones

Love the color and ease to blend. The color in the description was spot on. Very little needed to get a great contour look.
