Hose to FIT VAX 2000 4000 6130 6131 6140 7131 8131 9131

Please be aware that the quality of the hose may depend on which seller you buy it from. Yes, it fits my Vax 6131. But after only 18 months it has now split apart. And I am not using it every day and always tend to look after my things. So disappointed that it didn't last long. I don't think it has served the purpose for a reasonable length of time- new hose every 18 months?...An original from Vax may cost twice more but at least the original that came with the vacuum lasted much longer than 18 months and didn't split apart like this..As usual- pay cheap, pay twice.

Brought this for my mum, after it broke and she was planning to buy a brand new hoover, so glad I checked Amazon, it fits perfect, well made, and does its job...plus it saved my mum buying a new hoover out of her pension..

I asked on the questions section if this would fit my hoover, it didn't and now I have a useless piece of plastic lying around my house.The house seems to be of far less quality than the original hose.If you're stuck, maybe try somewhere else.Oh, and don't trust people saying it'll fit your hoover, you might end up wasting money like I did.

This hose does not fit the vax 6132, I cut off the fitting that goes into the hoover and replaced it with the original fitting from my own, having to use duct tape to secure it. The brush fitting is very good with a swivel head

Bit disappointed in this item-struggled to get it to fit my vax had to force it on but still not perfect fit.
