Quality on the knife and the sheath are excellent. Great knife for camping, hunting, bug-out bag, etc. 704 Gear has become one of my favorite companies for quality knives and a competitive price. Grip is comfortable and the knife is weighed and balanced well.

This knife is a heavy duty well-made tool for every day use. The full-tang construction makes it well balanced with a non slip G10 handle that fits perfectly in your hands. Though it has a little weight behind it but then again all well made- heavy duty knives do as well. The price matches the quality.

When on sale, this is a great knife for the money. The 14C28N blade is strong and sharp. It reminds me of a MORA Garberg knife, but at half the cost. It comes with a kydex sheath with a lockable clip and has a smooth, contoured grip. It makes a great backup knife to a more expensive belt knife and a good EDC knife.

It is ALMOST an awesome knife. Excellent choice of steel. Good blade length, shape, and grind for general tasks (with some orientation toward being a fighting knife). Good coating (even if unnecessary with this stainless steel). Good handle color and material. Excellent sheath, with a useful adjustable clip. At $30 on sale, the price is insanely good. BUT, there are some things I just can't get past: 1) The handle has corners that seriously need some contouring. As is, the knife is too uncomfortable to hold for any amount of time. I should have believed the other negative reviews. This is a serious issue. 2) The handle is too heavy and too long. I have size large hands, and the grip extends a good 1" beyond my hand when choking up on the knife. Plus the palm swell doesn't center in my hand. It feels like this knife was made for size XXL hands only. Consequently, the knife feels heavy, especially in the handle. The handle should be shortened by 1/2" with the palm swell moving toward the blade. And the tang of the handle should be skeletonized a bit to reduce the weight and improve balance. This is an issue that is quite noticeable and makes for a bad experience. 3) The grip texturing could be more aggressive. This is less of an issue compared to the first two, but still would be nice to have. With these three things fixed, this would be a world beater. As is, this is just an okay knife that I plan to return despite the excellent price. I just don't see myself ever grabbing this over something like my Ruike Jager F118. It's a real shame, because this knife is so close to being excellent.

As expected because it is accurately described by the seller. Thick. Substantial feeling. Looks like it will be tough and durable. The sheath is exceptional.
