These batteries give the controller extra life. My controllers were dying after about 3-4 hours of game play, now it seems they go for days. Haven’t had any issues with the controller getting fried, but on the other hand, how much do you loose other than the cost of the battery since you would have to get one anyway. I tried the battery and recommend them.

Used this battery pack in a DIY project with the PS controller's battery connector on the circuit board. Seems to be doing very well in the finished product, charging stably and holding a charge for expected durations under load. From the available evidence, I suspect this would work really well in an actual PlayStation controller too!

Like most of these third party PS5 batteries, the actual mAh rating is likely far less than advertised. No way it's 4000, probably closer to 2000. This battery is actually smaller than another third party battery I had from another company rated at 3000 mAh. Having said that it does work fine and lasts a little longer than the stock battery. The included screwdriver and pry tool are also of much better quality than is usually included with these batteries.

This replacement battery was easy to install thanks to the tools provided with it. I was actually surprised at how easy the process was. So far the battery is working great and has increased the runtime of the controller I installed it on. This was definitely cheaper than buying a new controller!

The PS5's DualSense controller is arguably one of the best controllers ever made, with the exception that it has the worst battery life among modern wireless gamepads. Why they still haven't upgraded the ~1000mAh battery is boggling. I don't game often but when I do I will take up a good portion of the day, and nothing is more frustrating than having to swap out controllers mid-session. I was mildly hesitant about doing field surgery on such an expensive controller but after watching a quick youtube video it turns out it's incredibly easy. 5 minutes later, I had the new battery installed and the controller charging. So far it seems to be true to spec as even after several hours of play the battery is still going strong! I think I'll order a couple more!

Bro, I've been enjoy the extra hours of gaming via this battery. The capacity is well enough an acceptable range for my needs. I can't say the exact hours but it has been at least an extra 5 hours. No science involved by seems true.... I like it, buy!

Good replacement. Changing the ps5 controller is pretty straight forward, pop the plastic buttons and guards, four screws and boom. This came with a pry tool and screw driver. I watched a video and boom easy change. Works so far at least as well as the original.
