Motor Medic C1412 10-Minute Radiator Flush - 11 oz.

This stuff worked when I was 16 working on old beaters and works today on my old ride I have had for 50 years.

This works great in attempting to give life to a 95 Ford truck

Easy to use and a good price.

I liked it but you could just save some money by using vinegar

It did a fantastic job unclogging my vehicle. All the gunk that was causing my engine to overheat and make a horrible clacking sound was washed away but sadly I find myself with a radiator leak now lol. It is an older model GMC van and the leak would have been there anyway if not for all the gunky residue plugging it up. The product did not cause the leak...just old . The beautiful thing is that the engine runs perfect again.......no more hideous clacking sound. I could actually hear a whistling sound during the flush that indicating to me whatever was clogged and causing the problem was being cleaned and opened up. Definitely would use again. I first drained the filthy rusty old muddy water, then flushed with clean water and finally added the flush product w/ hose water and followed the directions. The final drain rinsed out clear.

Doesn't work as good as the old acid flush formula but those days are long gone.

GUNK uses some pretty potent chemicals, and for a product to efficiently clean a system in 10 minutes, that has accumulated over years, makes you wonder if it could be a little too harsh on weak and sensitive parts of the cooling system. But, for what I used it for, it worked just Great. I first drained my cooling system, completely (with the heater control on, to also drain the heater core). Filled it with water, ran until it reached operating temperature, drained it, added a quart of Prestone Flush and topped off with water. Ran for a few days, then drained again, filled with just water, heated up and drained. Then, I put in the 10-Minute Radiator Flush, topped with water, and ran it 10 minutes(+-), then drained, filled with water, ran, drained..... repeated until clear. I installed a back-flush T connection in the outlet heater hose and did a final flush. I pulled the thermostat inlet housing to replace the thermostat. The inner manifold was almost shiny clean, as was the internal radiator core.
