Looked good, easy to install. Turns out the adhesive is still strong enough to peel paint off the wall. Good thing I had to repaint anyways.

The foams panels are decent quality, honestly better than I thought they were going to be. Getting them to expand was a huge challenge. I had 160 panels, so I knew it was going to be a huge project to begin with. So I thought I could save some time and energy by soaking half in water and letting the other half sit out and expand. The half I soaked, turned out good, I sat them out with a fan blowing on them to dry and looks great. I waited for the others to expand as directed, for 24 hours. But they did not expand properly, half of the peaks in the center did not expand, and the ones that did expand, were thinner than the ones I had soaked in water. Also when I was soaking the panels, about 75% of them did not expand very well and had to massage them to their normal state, each peak had to be massaged on each panel. Most likely because they were too compressed, 1 pack of panels wasn’t as compressed and started expanding almost instantly, while the others were a huge chore. But after I finally got all panels dried, they were perfect. Thicker than I was expecting them to be, not gonna lie I was worried at first about the quality, but I am quite impressed. If you’re on a budget and want to help eliminate sound, they work fairly well. I personally used them in my apartment on one wall in my living room to help rid of sound, I’m a night shifter and am up all night long so helps keep the neighbors happy. Also quick note, they work better if you cover the entire area with the foam panels, example, an entire wall, from floor to ceiling. They don’t work well in patches.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Affordability Ease of installation: So time consuming and they do not come with the tape Noise level: Helps with sound blocking. Muffles things pretty well Durability: They treat very easily. If you have small kids or animals I would keep this in mind Smell: No smell
