Excellent quality, used with a good cutting oil and bit is holding up fine. Tap worked well also, installed the zero fittings with no issues.

Great quality bit and tap combo worked good with zero problems had to mount a pictiny rail so drill ad tap time.

I got this for the tap; drill bit is a bonus. However, it bothers me that the product was packaged with the tap and the drill bit able to knock together in the packaging. Maybe an issue, maybe not. Someone smarter than me would have to weigh in. The tap worked fine. I appreciate that it has a standard square drive and works with the tools I already have. I was cleaning out an existing hole with damaged threads. The result is looser than I would prefer, but that may not be the fault of the tap. The drill bit is stamped "HSS". The tap is not. The packaging says made in Japan, India, or China (but is specific to 10/32). The tap is stamped "INDIA".

I thought I needed the bit that was the proper size for the 1/8" npt tap so I order this matched set. I was needing the tap to install my over flow fitting on my TH400 transmission. Well turned out after removing the factory metal drain that the hole left in the case was bigger than the drill bit. Somehow the tap was still a perfect fit in the hole that was there. So I just used the tap and gently tapped my case for the fitting. The tap was very sharp and although it was only aluminum it still did a excellent job. Not sure why the drill bit was so much smaller than the hole that the tap fit perfectly. I feel like that drill bit would have been too small for this tap but I didn't get to use it so I cannot say for sure.

Had to drill out an old primary drain plug on a Harley that the genius previous owner had loctited in and could not be extracted with easy-outs. Used this kit to drill and tap an oversized hole for a 1/4”-18 NPT oversized drain plug. Worked perfectly. Bike is back on the road. Very happy!
