Fell in love from the very first use
There is nothing bad to say about this bit of kit. From the very first use, it has proved itself to be easy to use. The Plate heats up quickly and evenly, the unit is very stable and does not wobble around or move while we are using it, which is something I was concerned about because the unit is not weighty, it is light, which made me think it was a bit flimsy; however, it is nothing of the sort. We use the unit at least once a week, indoors and out, and every time we have used it, it has proven to be really great. The plate cooks beautifully and very evenly, the Thermostat is very efficient and works exactly as it should, once the food is cooked we turn it down to number 1, so that we can just take food as we want it, it stays nice and warm on the plate without drying out. So far, we have cooked a lot of Chicken, Prawns, Fish, Pork loin, Steak and Lamb chops, Cherry and Plum Tomato's, Sliced Onions, Mushrooms, Baby sweetcorn, Asparagus and sweet Peppers etc.. Everything cooks beautifully on it. Cleaning the Plate takes no effort whatsoever, I use a soft damp dishcloth with a little washing up liquid and just wipe it clean. The little oil drip tray goes in the dishwasher. I read some reviews on these plates before buying this one, and some people were saying that the one they bought (Not this one) had buckled after a few uses. This one has been used a lot in the short time we have had it and it is still nice and straight, it has not buckled or twisted at all. Therefore I can add that it is also proving to be great value for money, great bit of kit, happy to recommend and I hope you get as much pleasure from one as we have from ours so far.

Teppanyaki Madness!
A perfectly stunning bit of kit. There, said it. We've had ours for over a month and it has exceeded every expectation. Originally I bought it simply to cook alongside the old barbie, but this has probably taken over. Yes, I've 'charred' the odd bits and pieces on the barbecue that I started on this, but frankly that was simply because you are used to having a bit of 'burn' at barbecue time. Keep turning food and it will cook right through. We've cooked beef and pork steaks, beef and lamb burgers, chicken pieces, fish (in foil too), mushrooms and other veggies, prawns, bacon eggs, sausages, pancakes, kebabs................in fact it's hard to figure what you can't do on it, as it is after all a big frying pan. Welsh cakes are next on the list. I'd read on other similar items of people moaning that it 'keeps switching off'. This is the thermostatic control kicking in. You have a simple dial that goes from 1 to 5 but frankly I've never took it over 3. At the right temperature it cuts off then kicks back in as it cools. Nothing can describe sitting at the picnic table with the sun out and your meal sizzling next to you! It is easy to cook on and keeping it on the lower heats stops you damaging the non stick. Cleaning is easy as it cools down within about fifteen minutes and a wipe with oiled kitchen paper to get bits off then a warm soapy cloth keep it in perfect condition. I always oil ours before we use it and sometimes after use to store. The two big handles either side mean if it rains you can whip it indoors, and it's easy to move about. Issues? Well it can be hard to find a level surface to cook on in our garden or house, but I just tilt it to move the fat to the drip tray. I have noticed that this can mean fat will run under the pan and out through the sides - so more my fault than the grill's. Picked ours up for £18.99 and £7.99 post and it is SOOOO well worth it. I cannot work out how we did outdoor cooking before (and you can use it inside as well). It's so nice being able to sit AT the picnic table as the food cooks, rather than in the smoke on the other side of the garden away from everyone. And the prep? Take it out, plug in, oil, cook. About 5 minutes at most. Not like piling up the charcoal and trying to get it burning and THEN waiting for the right heat. We still use the barbie for some bits, but this can cook a whole meal on its own - and don't skimp on the smaller ones, get the big one, you won't regret it. UPDATE: I just wanted to add if you have a family and dinners are round the TV, this is a great way to get the kids round the table inside and out!

I luv it!
Previous reviews are quiet accurate ! Came quickly, was as expected and described, thanks to previous reviews i fixed the problem of drip holes and tray being of bad design before i used it, I also sanded down the plastic on the handles as they were molded out of line and that left two sharpish ridges running along each one. then i sanded down the spatulas to get the coating off them before i used them,,,( this worked, its a treatment spayed on them that smells ) the thermostat is not great and turns off for far too long letting the griddle cool down too much before it will click on again,,no fix for that as yet. ok that the negative out of the way,,,it still gets 4 stars from me because its a great bit of kit,,,and for £20 you should not be expecting anything better,,, its great for making stir-fry type food,, fajitas, burgers, steaks, fish, breakfasts ,pancakes, toasted rolls and sandwiches, heats up quick, easy to clean, stacks of room to cook on! i bought this instead of buying a cooker, apart from roasts and pizza,s this and a microwave take care of everything , and it cost the same as a good frying pan so yes a few design faults but i think the manufacturer knows that and is selling them cheap,, i luv it!

Great grill, highly recommend
Great little grill, slim looking, but can fit a lot of food on it. Cooks evenly. Non stick, cooks evenly. Easy to use, the controls are easy to regulate the temperature of the grill. Easy to clean. Highly recommend for family functions/bbqs. Sturdy, great value for money. No warping of the hot plate during use. Very happy with product.

Powerful grill
I love this grill. I keep inviting our friends over for Korean bbq. It's really powerful and cooks the thin cut meat pieces quickly. So happy with this purchase. I would recommend to purchase the XXL size so that 8 people can use it at once. I purchased the XL one but sadly only 6 people can use it at once. Overall it's a great quality product! I highly recommend it!
