Massive hunk of plastic for so little money. In centuries to come this Nerf gun will be unearthed by Archaeologists as one of the last remnants of a forgotten civilisation. So solid and heavy is this indestructible gun that it would take a nuclear explosion to even scratch it.My son loved it and chose it over many more expensive alternative (much to the delight of my bank balance). It is long and heavy, and extends to a ludicrous length using the sliding front element. Note though this extending feature does nothing the affect the action or shooting of the weapon, it is just for show.The gun fires accu-strike darts, but these are really just another mega dart, and indeed you can use mega darts with this gun.Despite all the claims this gun has a poor range, and the mega bullets quickly drop from the gun due to a lacklustre velocity. Dont expect to hit something accurately at more than 4m without a significant adjustment for bullet drop. Anything over 10m is pure chance.So this Nerf gun is pure show, and impressive looking it is being the size of a proper rifle when fully extended, but any similarities with a rifle end there.

I ordered it as a extra present but wasn't expecting it to be so Great.

Bought as a Christmas present for my 11 year old son. He loves it, no complaints here :)

Aesthetics of the gun are good, looks sturdy unfortunately didn't fire properly on arrival, so we have a disappointed nine year old.

Great nerf gun for a great price

Getting past the innuendo laden nature of the headline, the Thunderhawk looks impressive, especially with the bipod stand down and the barrel extended. However, when compared to other Nerf weapons from the Elite and even Rebelle ranges, it seriously lacks in power, throwing darts with a lot less force than other guns. Looks good, and the manual reload can be done with the left or right hands, but disappointingly lacklustre when firing.
