KOH-I-Noor 6 Gioconda 5.6 mm Graphite Leads. 4865/6B

Minute I hit the page with one of these, I knew I had some great leads. The 6Bs are so velvety smooth. Easily the best feeling 6B lead I've every used. I feel like my pencil drawing immediately became more expressive and dynamic using these. With a good lead holder, this totally beats traditional wood pencils. They're so much more versatile, low maintenance, and economical to boot. Only thing I'll say is that the foam they wrap them in folds underneath the leads and when I went to pull it off thinking it was just a top sheet covering them, it pulled them all out and two leads fell out and broke. Really my mistake for opening them too excitedly, but just beware that they are fragile!

Koh-I-Noor 6 Gioconda 5.6 mm Graphite Leads "4865/6B" are the highest quality leads I've ever had (the trick is at the 6B part). They allow deep black strokes plenties of personality but also thin lines and smooth washes depending on angle and force applied. I'm really happy with them. Leads come very well packaged and foam protected, and the seller CzechArtSupplies answers quickly any questions. I would buy again this product one thousand times. The only drawback is the S&H cost because the leads are dispatched from Czech Republic.

It writes. Very fragile package though, leads came broken in pieces. Could have been worse, they weren't shattered or anything, they're just each in two or three pieces instead of one.

Wow! These are fantastic for drawing! WIDE graphite sticks, allowing for quicker drawing. My favorites are 6B.

Smooth graphite “lead” feels great— not gritty like some frustrating cheap stuff. The quality of this lead makes drawing easier on a variety of surfaces.

Leaves nice, heavy lines

Great complement for my mechanical pencil, it fits perfectly.

Ottime mine. Avevo le 2B della stessa marca ma erano troppo dure. Queste invece risultano molto morbide, il tratto è fluido e si cancella facilmente. Marca affidabile.

-zeichnet wunderbar, wie er soll -wischt sich gut -bricht nicht so leicht -gut eingepackt, Verpackung besteht aus dieser Pastikbox und innen ist zusätzlich zu diesen üblichen Plastik-Stiftehalterdings auch noch so eine Art Schaumstoff drauf, damit die Minen auch von oben geschützt sind. Da gibt es also überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln.
