When I purchased a new car, it didn’t come with a CD player. I had a lot of CDs from Broadway shows and my favorite musicians. It worked well for all those CDs instead of buying the latest type of music. The sound quality was good as well as the battery life. It also comes with a charger.

I purchased this CD player for my daughter as a Christmas gift, that claimed to be “high quality,” this was a huge disappointment right out of the box. We opened it on Christmas Day, installed the batteries, and immediately noticed the digital display is defective. The numbers do not fully show on the screen a “7” looks like a “1,” a “2” looks like three random spaced-out lines, and overall the display is incomplete and hard to read. At first, we thought maybe it was just cosmetic and decided to give it a chance. The FM radio does work, so I’ll give credit where it’s due. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. As soon as we tried to play an actual CDyou know, the main purpose of a CD player it completely failed. The CD spins for about two seconds, then stops, and the unit never reads the disc. We tried multiple CDs, reinserted them, powered it on and off, and nothing. It simply does not work as a CD player. To make matters worse, customer service is nonexistent. I called the phone number listed for the company several times on different occasions, and every single time I got a message saying no one was available. I also emailed them and have not received a single response. No call back, no email, nothing. So to summarize: • Defective display screen • CD player does not function • Zero customer support This was meant to be a nostalgic Christmas gift, and instead it turned into a frustrating experience. I would not recommend this item, and I definitely would not trust this company again.

Worth every penny. Even has a “hold” switch on the bottom. No problem playing scratched up cds So far so good.
