Great product
I used Slo-niacin 750mg daily for 4 months at dinner time, two years ago. It helped me loose weight. But it did create heavy flushing for me. While taking it I felt I could not drink alcohol, because it made the flushing worse. When I eat healthy, the flushing felt kind of nice. Also sometimes i would get dizzy when working out. So for me slo-niacin could only be temporary. I was missing the feeling and benefits of slo-niacin, so I tried smaller doses of both niacin and nicotinamide. I tried 100mg, 200mg, and 300mg of each. For me, with no particular health issues at the moment, I felt having 200mg nicotinamide at breakfast and 200mg nicotinamide at dinner felt great. I had less appetite, and craved healhtier foods more. Also it had a calming effect. I was able to drink a few beers a week with nicotinamide at this does and not feel any negative effects (for me that 5 beers total in 1 week, 1-2 per day, three days a week). So for me personally, nicotinamide is good for overall health. I like the skin benefits, mood calming, the feeling of liking healthier foods more, and appetite suppressant effects. In the near future I will likely reduce my 400mg per day to 100mg a day to see if it still has a similar effect, and then likely will move it up to 200mg per day. I try to just take the amount I need, and no more. Because taking too much of a supplement can deplete other nutrients.

Very effective supplement
This is a wonder pill for reducing pain and inflammation in joints. Of course , they can't say that on the bottle or in their advertising. It was recommended by a well known online doctor so I thought I would try it. Low dose 3 x daily. After only a week my knee pain disappeared after a year of limping and misery. I can't guarantee that it will work for your problem but it's worth a try. I am no doctor but I can tell you it worked wonders for me. I'm walking normally for the first time in two years. No I wasn't paid to say this!

Important vitamin
So far the vitamin is working great and I’m taking it in place of a statin to be all natural.

Great price for this vitamin
This is a great price for this vitamin, certainly far cheaper than what’s sold in a big grocery and drugstore chains. I’ve been using this brand for many years now. I can’t remember why I started, but it’s hardly going to cause me any harm and has no side effects. I love a bargain price, and this has it.

Arthritis or morning stiffness from RA
I have terrible hand arthritis, esp in my fingers and lower thumb joints. I started on Boron, which helps keep the pain at bay, but it did nothing for the morning stiffness. I'd wake up after a nap or from nighttime sleep barely able to move my fingers. Heaven forbid I needed to open a top or jar. After researching the boron, I a medical article on niacinamide: "The effect of niacinamide on osteoarthritis: a pilot study" Google arthritis+niacinamide and you should discover many articles. But the dosage should start off low and work your way up. I started off with 100 mg several times a day up until I took about 10 a day. When I've skipped, the morning stiffness comes back in a day or two. You want to spread out the dose and build up. Smaller is better as it has a short half life. I'm going to try upping it to 250 mg several times a day, since I've had so much improvement. (I'm not ready to give up dairy as I hear this could be the cause. Love my cheese!) I'm just surprised the my RA hadn't suggested this. He knows I'm taking it, now, and how much, so I know that's not an issue. But this should be first defense before taking any drugs. I take no painkillers for arthritis now. This stuff works.
