To be honest, I bought this for a bit of fun and was not expecting too much. However, after using this several times over Christmas I can confidently say this is a really good kit. The smoker is charged via usb c (always a good start in my opinion!), and is easily operated via a single button on the top. The smoker is fast, it takes a few seconds to "warm up", and then you can see plenty of white pillows of smoke fill the glass. It definitely adds to the theatre of making cocktails, such as an old fashioned, and as one would hope, it adds a distinct smoky smell and taste. The smoker only needs one or two small spoons of chips to generate a good amount of smoke for a round of up to 4 drinks. Therefore, the chips provided should last a good time. The kit comes with 6 different flavours of chips, all very different. Over time, I would say most people will simply gravitate to one or two favourites ( apple so far for me!). The smoker is well made and the design is well thought out. Overall, whilst perhaps not the cheapest on the market, the quality makes this good value for money. It makes for a great gift.

This whiskey smoker kit is actually so cool. The built-in lighter makes it super easy to use, no messing around with butane. The smoke flavour comes out really strong and makes my drinks taste way better, especially old fashioned cocktails. It comes with 6 different wood chips, so you can try different flavours and see what you like. The whole thing feels well made and looks great too. Perfect gift idea for anyone who likes whiskey or cocktails. Really happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Great product and value

This smoker is amazing when it comes to theatrical drinks making. It's so easy to use and it looks fantastic when being used! The only downside is that sometimes the amount of wood chips required to make smoke can vary depending on the type of wood. Otherwise, this thing is perfect!

It is a really cool gadget, you have to press the top button a few times before it actually starts to disperse smoke. The chipping it came with seem to be good, albeit I have not used anything else so I don’t have another product to make a comparison with. Personally I think I would have preferred to get a butane burner one.
