I was able to save my favorite ultra light aluminum lawn chair, rather than spend the $60 bucks for a new one now.
I have yet to know how long this webbing will last, but I'm tickled pink I was able to save my favorite ultra light aluminum lawn chair. If you have checked, it's getting VERY hard to find all aluminum lawn chairs. They will likely cost $60 bucks IF you find them new. Not sure why all the new ones that look like aluminum are steel, but the steel ones are heavy. The all aluminum ones are light light light. Plenty of material in one package for an average chair. You may not have to replace all your webbing. Remember when these all aluminum lawn chairs were like 10-15 bucks?Tip for using the webbing: Hopefully your chair is still intact and webbing ends are still there. There is a small steel piece inside the webbing at the ends holding it in place. Simply cut the webbing once in the middle. When you cut the old webbing DON'T LOSE those small pieces, and look carefully at how the go back in. They hold the webbing so you won't have to use any re-webbing screws. The web will have formed around the attaching piece so save one end intact so you can use it as a reference. The you CUT the new webbing by measuring an old one pieced back together. It's OK to cut a little longer (but not a alot), as the webbing folds over itself at the ends. You'll see when you carefully take the webbing off the chair. Each web on that side of the chair is the same length. As you put the webs on it's preferable for it to be fairly tight, unless your a huge person. In that case a webbed ultra light chair may not be a good choice. The tighter the webbing, the trickier it is to get the end fasteners back in place. I found you do the fold and roll over on one end and attach the end fastener. You will notice how to do it when you take the old webbing off. Its basically a strong small piece of metal rod with a semi pointed loop jutting up 1/2" or so in the middle. Once the webbing is folded over on the final end and tightness to your liking, you carefully work the part sticking up into the center of the webbing where it will fit back into the hole. Voila and your done. $60 chair fixed for under 10 bucks. So tell me why these things cost $60 bucks now?

I have re-strung a number of lawn chairs and this was good as any other material I have purchased
Contrary to what a couple of other reviewers have said I thought this material was as expected. I have re-strung a number of lawn chairs and this was good as any other material I have purchased. The one thing I was not happy with is their statement that the amount of material in this package would cover a "normal" chair. Not sure what their normal was, but it did not work for me. I just purchased a second package to finish my chair (1 strap to go). My conventional lawn chair had 6 long straps and 9 short straps and I came up one short. I have done this before so was very careful measuring each strap and comparing it to the old strap that had been on the chair, but I still needed about 3 more feet or so of material when I was done, for the last strap. It is possible I suppose if I had scrimped on each strap, necessitating a tug-of-war for each installation, I could have come closer to having enough, but doubtful I would have still had enough. Be aware you will need to of these packs for one chair....with lots left over from the second package.

NOT ENOUGH TO DO 1 CHAIR!!!
The webbing itself was fine; nice color as shown, good quality. I have webbed aluminum folding lawn chairs before. There was not enough in one package to complete a chair! I ordered 2 packs , each a different color, and EACH ONE was about 5" short! WTF???

Not enough material to do an average chair
The description says there’s enough to do an “average chair.” It should say that there’s NOT enough to do one chair unless it’s a cheap one with a below average number of webbing straps. There was not enough to do either of our “average chairs!” For the price charged, it should include a sufficient length to do an actual “average chair!”

Extended the life of my lawn chair
Good strong webbing supports a lot of weight. My lawn chair is a few years old now, so plastic strands started snapping one by one until finally my can was on the ground. Lawn chairs are a seasonal item, so they disappeared in my area around the end of June to make room for back-to-school stuff in the store. This webbing is very strong, and an excellent color match. I sewed it in with 32 lb fishing line to make sure it won't snap under my weight. It will hold me over until next spring when chairs are back on the shelf in stores.

Nice product
Remember those folding picnic chairs we all had in the 1970's? Yeah, that's what this webbing is. I needed to rewrap a porch swing, and this worked perfectly. This is a 2-person swing, and I did both the back and the seat. It took 2 packages to do it, and it was perfect. Can't say how happy I am that I did this, it worked great and I'm happily swinging in my yard again! Good price and fast delivery too. Strong and sturdy...

Looks really nice, a bold blue color
High quality, a bit wider than the original ones that were on my chair, but works/fits fine, and looks REALLY NICE. This cuts easily with a scissors, I measured the length I removed, and followed their instructions. I used a stiletto to poke a hole through the webbing where the screw was to go, held the stiletto (you could use a large nail, or maybe a small Philips Screw Driver) for a second or two, then pulled it out and quickly inserted the screw through the webbing (that was folded over per the instructions), and then screwed it into the leg. I used washers with my screws.

Easy to work with
I watched a video and replace the chair webbing. Super easy to do. Very happy with the results. I even had a small bit left over which was good because I made a wrong cut. It is enough to do a regular chair.

It's exactly the same material the chairs were manufactured with so they work fine for repairs
The order was broken up into 2 or 3 different parcels over a 3 week period. I was a little nervous the last one wouldn't arrive, but it finally did. It's exactly the same material the chairs were manufactured with so they work fine for repairs.

Haven't installed it yet but it looks just like other webbing that I've used successfully
Haven't installed it yet but it looks just like other webbing that I've used successfully. Can't say for sure about this specific product but some others have just about, but not quite enough in one package to finish one chair. Measure carefully and order a second if you need it.
