I recently purchased this metal magnetic chargeable iPad stand, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Purchased in July of 2024 and the electrical connection stopped working October of 2025. Not great. Clearly would not purchase again.

I had no idea that I was using the stand backwards but it seems quite sturdy so I'll continue to use it this way. I had intended to order the KU 3-arm stand with desk clamp but I accidentally ordered this one and it arrived today. So instead of returning it right away, I decided to give it a test and I rather like it with a mx keyboard and apple mouse connected instead of buying the Magic Keyboard which I still might buy someday for carrying around but this solution for just desktop use is quite nice. The magnet positions are perfect for my iPad Pro M4 chip 13 inch and both the stand and the magnet adhesion is perfect with no fear of the iPad Pro wobbling or falling off. The stand is heavy enough to keep the iPad steady. If you need a desktop iPad Pro M4 2024 stand, this is it. Highly recommended on both the quality of construction and sturdiness. Oh one more thing, the included charging cable + the magnetic charging port works flawlessly as I read somewhere else that the iPad would reject the magnetic port as not compatible with Apple's iPad but the magnetic charging port frees up the usb-c port for a midi cable with usb audio (Logic Pro sounds plays on the speakers of my Kong B2) or my Rokid Max AR glasses without having to use a power hub that both charges and connects to my Rokid Max.

Update: Second stand had the exact same issue. Getting a refund. Within 48 hours, the charging capabilities stopped working. This is because the middle pin of the three charging pins broke. I'm not sure if it's the spring that keeps the pin in contact with the back of the iPad or if it is the pin itself, but when I examine the pins, the center one does not pop back out when the iPad is removed like the other two do. The stand holds the iPad securely, and I have a skin on the back of my iPad to protect against scratches. I am having the stand replaced, hopefully the second one will last longer than 48 hours.

****UPDATE: Sometimes it doesn’t charge. Two days after I wrote my review I took my ipad off the stand overnight and the next day it took me 2 hours to get it to charge again. I thought maybe I wasn’t lining it up correctly, but it seems I was. The charge didn’t work at all, then it was going in and out and now it’s working great again. Not sure what’s causing this. Also, I plugged it into my ipad port by accident today and it is charging that way as well. This is a good backup or a temporary solution if your port or chargers stop working, but not an ideal way to charge.*** Out of nowhere my Ipad pro stopped charging again. Before heading out to purchase another Ipad, I thought I would look around and see if anything wireless was out there even though every article/blog I read said there was nothing. I found this and was so afraid it wasn’t going to work, but it did! At first the Apple logo came on, but it didn’t show it was charging. It also didn’t start actually charging for almost an hour. The sticker on the stand said it was for a different ipad than the one I have, but the listing said mine was capatible, so I left it on the stand for awhile to see what would happen… and it eventually started charging very slowly and then faster as the percentage got higher. If you don’t see it charging at first, give it some time. It also charges pretty decent when the ipad is in use. So happy I didn’t have to buy another expensive ipad! Also, I love the stand. Very sturdy and magnet is strong. So happy I purchased this!

Looks amazing on my desk. It is very solid and sturdy. It holds my iPad either vertically or horizontally and doesn't bounce around at all. This is the nicest one I've seen.

Nicely robust and clean design. Enough heft to be secure, but not awkward to shift around. I use it to hold my iPad Pro at the helm console of my trawler. Was going to screw it down, but may not be necessary given how stable it is.

When my iPad's charging port broke, I thought I was going to need to buy an entirely new device. This stand has completely saved it, and keeps my tablet charged - the functionality of the stand is a bonus! The hinges are strong and hard to bend but I prefer it that way, it's better for when I need to write with my pencil.
