Crave S10 Case, Dual Guard Protection Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S10 - Forest Green

I was skeptical about this phone at first glance. The price and design were great so I gave it a shot. I received it today and am pleasantly surprised. The design is slim and light, the color is accurate the the green color shown on amazon(love the color). And it fits perfectly. As others have said, the texture of the case is slightly smoother than expected but doesn't present any real issues to it. I have yet to drop the phone and do not plan to do so, but the edges should be protected. And I can't attest for the durability due to just receiving it Only slight downside of protection is due to the slight curve of the screen, the protection does not cover the screen completely but it does 90%. The buttons are nice to use and easy to press with a pleasant (non audible) click which I like. One DOWNSIDE is the button for the yo and down volume has quite a bit of play to it and while the others do not. The larger button slides up and down and twists slightly which makes it feel more cheap/ready to fall off or break easily. Only time will tell. If you are looking fir a cheap case, give this a try.

I got the Forest Green option. It's more of a teal really if that makes a difference to you. Excellent case overall. The case is textured, which in my opinion makes it feel more secure to hold and is very aesthetically pleasing. The buttons are very tactile and responsive. The case is dual-layered, adding extra security. There is a lip on the front, so your phone screen never touches flat surfaces. The cutout for the camera comes close enough to the lens to prevent most dirt buildup without obstructing the camera. The case isn't at all too thick or unwieldy. It finds an exemplary balance being thick enough to provide reasonable protection while still being thin and lightweight overall. As for downsides, the buttons protrude more than they need to. Throws off the balance of the phone if you're the type to use stands horizontally. Additionally, since the back is textured, I assume that it isn't compatible with all adhesive accessories. I used a strap-style stand for a short period which came with a transparent adhesive pad which created a smooth surface to adhere the strap itself to. That worked remarkably well, but I ended up discarding the strap/stand for aesthetic reasons. Very nice case overall. The over-protrusion of the buttons is the only real downside I have found so far.

I love the green color and the feel of the case - seems durable. There are "buttons" as part of the case that help to push the actual buttons on the phone itself, which work great. Cable charging is not a problem. My only complaint is that I thought the case would be more "grippy" - it slides around easier than my last case which makes it harder to hold on to and could lead to more slipping off of curved surfaces.

First of all, love that they had a case that fit my older model phone (Galaxy S10). Buttons line up great (volume bar was a little wiggly but after 3 months, there's no negative side effect from that). Second, my old case was exactly like this one: inner silicone moment with a harder outer shell (that's the dual protection). Cases like this have lasted me minimum 5 years and numerous drops. This Crave case has already survived my clumsiness for 3 months with no cracks, tears, etc. I like this design as it maintains a slim profile on the phone (not bulky or heavy) but remains durable and protects the phone. I specifically wanted a case that doesn't cover the front of the screen at all. The Galaxy S10 has a curved edge that I find is not compatible with a front/back case. I've had one of those "two-piece cases" and feel like the first time you drop it, the whole thing comes apart as the front portion is thin and inevitably breaks on contact. These back-only designs may frighten you but I swear by them. The green looks as-pictured and the grip-texture on the case isn't too much. I had a slick case before so it took some getting used to but I don't notice any annoyance (except it drags a bit when going into the pocket of my bike shorts).

Replaced an old Otter box Defender case with this Craze brand. I made my decision based off price and reviews. I didn't know what to expect and honestly thought I would return it once I received it and felt the quality. I was so wrong. This Craze case is very nice, although it does not have the armor like my Otter box had, but it gave my phone a whole new feel. I chose the green, which is slightly lighter in color(more of a dark sage than a forest green) but not a big deal. It is thinner and seems like I now have a new phone. My phone screen looks bigger and clearer since the Craze doesn't cover as much of the edge of the screen. Time will tell, if I drop my phone whether it will truly protect it from scratching or breaking. So far, so good! I am happy with my purchase.
