I purchased this icemaker because our refrigerator icemaker seems to have a mind of its own and some days makes plenty of ice and other days not so much. So I was constantly buying extra bags of ice at the convenience store. This icemaker really does do what the description says. It is a super easy set up and once water is added (I use filtered water), you have your first batch of ice cubes in about nine minutes. I stay on it and continue to collect ice until I have a gallon size Ziploc full. I keep about three bags for back up in my freezer. The ice cubes are small with holes through the middle. My granddaughter especially likes these because she can put one ice cube on each of her fingers, ha ha. Definitely recommend this product. It will probably pay for itself within three months.

Our fridge ice maker stopped working (again), so we decided to try this option, which is less expensive than a repair. The machine arrived in a box laying on its side. We removed the packaging tape, washed it, and allowed it to sit upright (as instructed) for more than 2 hours before turning it on. Just make sure to be mindful of the fill line - you don't want your new ice cubes floating in water. Then get ready to start adding them to the freezer because it starts working right away. The machine is VERY quiet - we checked the decibel levels using a free app and it was quieter than our coffee maker!

Takes a little to start making the ice, but once its going ice comes out in no time. I love this little ice machine. No issues so far!

Produces ice quickly. Ice isn't exactly frozen solid. Unit is not refrigerated so ice must go into a freezer. Good for RV use.

It makes ice like it’s supposed to, but only a little the rest is kinda melted at the bottom and stuck together.
