Dog eats it
My dog eats this. She’s really picky and this was like 5th food to try. She’s got Cushings disease and needs to be on renal care diet. This is less expensive than many of the prescription foods.

Picky dog doesn't like
I originally wrote a review and only gave it two stars because my dog wouldn't eat it. It's a week later, and all of a sudden she has decided she likes this food and is gobbling it down. She hasn't had any "accidents" for a few days, so hopefully it's helping her kidneys.

My dog loves the food!
My Senior Cairn Terrier loves the food. He was becoming a fussy eater but not with this food. I see a positive change in him already. Keeping paws crossed it continues. Since he's a senior I thought the low protein and phosphorus would benefit his health.

Would not recommend.
Nearly killed my dog.... one of the thin tin cans must was "wrinkled", and must of had a tiny hole in it, letting in bacteria. She ate it, and an hour later, got violently ill, and had two severe seizures. I thought she was dying. It was horrifying. This stuff comes from Italy, and must have been damaged in the long shipment. I will say that in prior cans, before she ate the bad one, she loved it, and gobbled them down. Beware, that is all I can say.

Confused by feeding guidelines
My dog loves this food but I don’t understand the feeding guidelines at all. My dog is 12lbs and he needs to gain weight. It says 4 3/4 a day for a 12lbs dog. 4 3/4 what? Ounces? Or trays? I’d it’s 4 3/4 trays that is like 16oz of food a day. That seems high. Please advise. Thanks

best food for kidney problems
My dog has kidney problems and the specific food in the USA is very expensive, in addition to the fact that you need a vet prescription to buy it, and my dog doesn't like it. I tried this 1 year ago, good price, no vet fees for the prescription and I always find the bowl clean 😉

My 18 year old girl loves it.
Tried a number of other foods for addressing kidney issues. My girl wouldn’t touch them after a couple servings. She gobbles this brand up.

So far so good
So far my kidney dog is eating this. It has been hard because his appetite waxes and wanes but so far so good. I warm it up for him and that increases the smell which helps entice him more. Much better than having to tube feed him which is what I have to do, if he does not eat enough on his own.
