Aniseed Gav 500ml 2 PK (2 Measuring Cups Free 30ml)

I’ve struggled with nighttime reflux for a long time and was looking for something that worked better for me than standard antacids. After trying this UK version of Gaviscon Advance, I noticed a significant difference in how I felt at night. What stood out to me is the thicker consistency compared to other versions I’ve tried. It seems to form a noticeable barrier after taking it, which for me helped reduce discomfort when lying down. Since using this, I’ve been able to sleep more comfortably and wake up less often due to reflux symptoms. While everyone’s experience may be different, this has been a worthwhile option for me and something I plan to keep on hand.

I was hesitant to buy this at first because it appeared to be a knock-off based on the picture of the label of this product called "Gav", but it's not. I was pleasantly surprised that it is an authentic Gaviscon product and at a much better price-point than the smaller bottles! Shake well before using because some separation may occur. Product is thick, like Elmer's glue and has an anise seed taste that is not awful, kind of nice, but mostly an acquired taste. But boy, this stuff works well! I have LPR and I take 2 teaspoons after breakfast, lunch, dinner, and before bed. It really helps against reflux and is keeping my stomach acid in my stomach, where it belongs, so my esophagus can heal. This is a great product!!!

If u don’t mind anise flavor this works pretty good!

This did provide relief for my LPR symptoms. If you don't like black licorice then this anise flavor will be tough to swallow.

We cannot buy a decent antacid in the states even though a thinned out version of Gaviscon is sold in pharmacies here. This stuff works and I have replaced the dangerous PPI’s with this version. Buy two as the shipping cost is stiff.

If you have silent reflux, this is a must. I know it's expensive but this will help clear up an irritated esophagus. My gastro suggested this AFTER I told him I discovered it via a group on FaceBook. "Oh, yeah. I have patients that use this and have great results." Well DUH! Why didn't he tell me about it? I suspect he wanted me to take his Rx for the Nexium, which I rejected for various reason.

Would not be without this product. My GI doctor recommended that I purchase it, as I have a very slow motility GI problem. I am not fond of the anise flavor, but I prefer this flavor over the mint flavor. I can literally feel this as it goes down to my stomach. It helps me with the acid feeling. I have used Gaviscon Advance for about two years now. It is not the cheapest product, but for me, it’s the best product. It comes from England so allow a few extra days as it will be going through customs.
