For a beginner-friendly drone, this one really impressed me. The dual cameras are a fantastic feature — the front camera delivers clear, colorful aerial shots, and the bottom camera helps with smooth landings and creative angles. Switching between views is simple, and the image quality is surprisingly good for this price range.Flight is stable and responsive, with controls that are easy to learn even if you’ve never flown a drone before. This is my first drone. I thought it was pretty easy to use with the given instructions. It has a remote that takes AA batteries, and I could have controlled it with my phone instead but I didn't try the app. The drone's about the size of my two combined hands if they're touching like in a clap. It's got 4 propellers, one at each corner, with 2 blades each. The drone's power comes from a battery pack about the size of a pack of gum that charges via a USB-A slot using an included charger. The drone is easy to carry around in an included case. I tried it with my kids and they were having fun. I'm not really sure how most drones take off and land but this one has a single button on the remote control and I just had to push it once for take off, and then it went up to around my head height. After piloting it around with the two thumbsticks, I just had to push the takeoff/landing button once again for landing, and it handled the details which is good because I wouldn't have known how. It's fun to use as a toy. I don't really use the camera because we just like to fly it around close to my house. We haven't had any issues with the battery yet but it is new, and we always have a good connection between the drone and the remote.
