Bought this as my battery was going flat with a fault and I could not get into a garage for a few weeks, this has been a life saver, starts the car ford focus first time, very easy to use and great to have a flash light built in. I would definitely recommend this product to friends.

I bought this as a generator at work didn't start when there was a power cut. (Battery wouldn't hold it's charge). Anyway ordered it and it came the next day..I took it to work the next day and hooked it up to the generator. Started first time, fantastic piece of kit to have, and keep it in my car now. You don't have to rely on anyone with this. As you do with jump leads. (another vehicle needed). Also like the ports on it to charge phones etc, and a torch. Glad I bought it, good price and as long as you keep it charged up you shouldn't get stranded anywhere.. Battery in generator replaced now. Happy days.

Arrived with 50% charge but only took approx 1 hour to get it to100%. Connected to my car battery which was not completely flat but had insufficient power to start the car. Started the car no problem. Would recommend

Great product. Connected up to car battery and left it for a minute to get some power in the battery, turned the key and it started up straight away. Highly recommend.

This product does exactly what it says it should do start my Volkswagen Passat diesel as if it had a brand new battery the battery is old and I haven't got round to replacing it yet and it takes a good few seconds of turning over to start the car with this starts as if it was new. If you need something to jump a completely dead battery then this product probably isnt for you .read the description properly about how much power you need it to deliver there's a lot of other reviews saying that it doesn't deliver the power that says it does it does just read the description properly that higher power output is only available for a couple of seconds it's a great battery jump pack for a week to low battery it also can charge your phone and has a handy torch also

Great bit of kit and definitely worth the money. Messing around in my car and stupidly ran the battery down. Real easy to connect and first turn it started my 2.0 litre golf GTI without a strain. Checked the charger lights and it hadn’t even used one bar! So impressed I bought one for everyone in my family and chucked my expensive jump leads! Check the prices as Amazon puts on discounts for this quite often. Best bit of kit I have ever bought for a car!!

Had the chance to test mine out only a couple months after I bought it. A bunch of friends were camping and with 2 early-ish (15-20 year old) Diesel Land Cruisers thought it would be a good idea to use the headlights to illuminate the campsite for a few nights in a row bit not driving on the in between days. The 3rd night they all fell asleep so batteries were absolutely flat as a pancake the next morning. I'm the nerd of the group and was already on my way to join them when I got the call - (I was a bit worried as I had to jump-start both of them, as they also had no jumper cables to jump one to the other). I am pretty sure these cars are between 4-5 litre Diesels so below the specs but I know how these things can have exaggerated numbers. Being completely flat batteries I had to press the boost button, which gives stronger current for 30 seconds. I pushed the button and got the first one to crank - it sluggishly turned but didn't start, I then said wait 15 seconds (to give it a chance to juice the battery a bit), and it fired up quickly with no issue. Did the same 15 second wait on the second car, and it fired up first time. Couple of points: - some reviews say that it is only 500 amps after receiving it. The 3000 figure is "peak amps" which they apparently apply for a second or two to get the thing turning but then settle down to 500 amps for the remainder of crank. I have had several jump starters over the years and ALL appear to advertise the peak amps figure. Many aren't honest enough to give the lower "cranking amps" as this one does so everyone is none the wiser. So keep that in mind when looking at the specifications of jump starters. - after jump-starting these two vehicles, only 2 of the 4 LEDs on the unit remained lit, so I wonder if it would have had enough in it to do a 3rd car (I had started a 2.5 litre petrol about a month prior and all 4 were still lit so never thought to recharge it - this worried me also). Keep in mind that these 2 cars are 4-5 litre Diesels (at the very high end of 4WD Diesel towing vehicles in Australia), and also keep in mind that these batteries were absolutely dead flat. I suspect it would have far more jump starts in it if not having to use the "BOOST" button for 2 large Diesels and not having done another jump-start a month earlier, so I am impressed regardless.

I bought the AstroAI S8 Pro Booster Pack mainly for peace of mind, and it really came through when I needed it. So far so good, worked flawlessly on a 5.3 Chevy Silverado, completely dead battery not even a clicking sound from it, put this jump starter on clicked on the boost butten and bam started first try, really advise on getting this one worked very well, It does use 25% of the battery every time and was able to jump it twice before it needs a charge as it must be at least 75% to jump the battery.
