Great Scooter
Love this scooter. Easy to set up. Folds and stores easily, lightweight, and good quality. Easy to charge. Goes up small hills really well. Faster than expected. Lots of extras come with it. Cushion could be more comfortable but is great for short rides. We use it to walk the dog and make short trips.

No electromagnet brakes
Let me give the plus of this scooter first. This scooter collapsed and stored super easy. Next, there are no electromagnet brakes as advertised, or for whatever reason they were not operational. There is a secondary handbrake that also did not function either. We took this to Walt Disney World for a four hour "test" day and it would not climb even the smallest of slopes, I assume because it is only 300 watts. We had another brand of scooter with us and ended up having to tow the scooter up the minor slopes with the "Drive Medical Scout" scooter. Going down those slopes with this scooter was truly frightening as there was no brakes at all and we had to use our feet to slow and stop the scooter. Waiting to board the monorail our feet had to brace on the ground to prevent us from rolling backwards down the minor slope. We deemed this scooter too dangerous for us and it did not meet our needs. It also is not as advertised. This item will be returned. BTW - The Drive Medical Scout will probably be replacing it as it seems appears to be safer and functions properly.

Lots of drawbacks but in the end we're keeping it
After a lot of consideration, we are keeping this scooter but it was a very close call. We had a SOLAX Transformer for four years before it quit and we couldn't find local repair. We wanted to save a little money and maybe get a little more mileage. PROS: 1. Though I was wary of a three wheel scooter, I feel very secure on this machine and not likely to tip over. 2. The mileage seems to be reasonable. We tested it yesterday at the mall and I was getting about 3 miles in the first bar. That is better than the SOLAX. 3. The turning radius is AWESOME. As a veteran of many airports this is incredibly important. 4. Love the storage bag in the back. 5. Love the light, the SOLAX didn't have a light and 11 p.m. at Disneyland going to the parking lot was DARK. 6. Though the SOLAX has that automatic folding procedure that amused me all over the globe, I really prefer this way, which is just to pull up on the seat and you're folded. 7. It's ten pounds lighter than the SOLAX. 8. Buying a second battery is reasonable and we'll be doing that. CONS: 1. The instruction manual was laughable. They didn't actually ever tell you how to make the thing move, among many other deficiencies. My husband figured it out but there was a lot of cursing. 2. On my first trip it seemed to have reasonable battery life until I got down to two bars (out of four) and then I was out of battery within five minutes. Unacceptable since we use the scooter mainly for amusement parks and overseas trips and need much more warning than that. However, given the milage I got in the first bar, I think I can work around this. 3. Absolutely no good on inclines. There is a 3-level power option and while 3 is better than 1 it's still rubbish. I'll work around this by avoiding inclines and staff will push it for me on the ship's onramps. 4. Strangely struggles with carpet. My outing involved a large casino and I had to go to mode 2 to get anywhere on the carpet and my battery life was horrible. My later testing was on tile. As I told my husband, how many venues overseas are going to be carpeted? I guess I just won't go to those! All in all, we're keeping it because with a lot of workarounds, I think we can make it work. The price was good, it's fairly comfortable, and I like the way it drives.

Best mobility purchase ever made
Absolutely Love this scooter. My husband uses it alot. It will come in handy when we go to the airport as it is compact. We will also get good use of it on an upcoming cruise. It will pay for itself after 3 cruises. Very pleased. I can get it out of the car myself. Haven't tried putting it in the car by myself but probable could if I had to. (48 lbs) Thank you for such a useful and compact way for my husband to get around.

Works great overall.
I have trouble walking medium to long distance. I purchased this so I could comfortably travel with my kids. I used it for a school tour for my oldest child, worked great. Seat is firm, so I purchased a wheel chair seat cushion on Amazon. Also I purchased pouches for the handle bars and for behind my chair on Amazon. The front basket included does not fit on handle bars because of all of the wires. And, when I ride it in the mornings around my neighborhood, it makes creaking noise. When the battery is showing it is half charged, it drains fast.

Great scooter for overseas travel!
This month, I completed a 7-day family trip across Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto with my Weyral scooter. It was so amazing! It really helped me enjoy my trip. I was concerned because my back issues have caused limited mobility for me but with the Weyral scooter I was able to still enjoy all of the attractions and events as well as keep up with my family. Over the course of the trip, I logged 32 miles of travel through bustling streets, train stations, markets, and attractions. I had no issues with the battery or battery life. The 3 speeds helped with navigating slopes and inclines like train ramps. The scooter’s foldable design proved revolutionary: it fit directly into the TSA x-ray machine, was compact enough for airplane cabin storage, and durable for daily usage. Being lightweight made it easy to maneuver when folded.
