Wonderful addition to my pan cabinet.
My pan cabinet was a nightmare to tend with because of the lids. I've purchased two other lid organizers that were more trouble than they were worth. This one has literally transformed my most dreaded to use cabinet into a spacious one used with ease as it was intended to be. This installs firmly and is not too deep of a fit (as others like it are where they extend over 6" into the cabinet when closed.) Mind you, we have to keep an inch or two in front of it clear so the door can close all the way, but not very much. If I had a really large cabinet, it could easily install on a side wall too. My husband had to change out the screws for shorter ones so they wouldn't go through the door of our cabinet, but that is a cabinet design. They'd have to ship this lid rack with at least 3-4 varying lengths of screws to cover all possible cabinet walls and doors. We don't find it a problem finding different screws as most things we buy require that any way. Six lids from small to very large fit in this. My lids are stainless steel and I have on glass dome lid. I do have to push down rather firmly for the lid handle to snap into it's proper position for one style of lid I have. For my other pan style (with a 1/2" inner rim that extends deeper past the edge of the lid) I have to adjust the angle to get it past the curves and seated right, but then it's unmovable until I want it to be. Almost every lid of mine fits in one of these slots and most fit in at least two of them, some three. The only lid that doesn't fit is my large, every day skillet's glass lid. It's handle is the wide, upside-down, oblong U (see next paragraph on tips for these kinds of lids.) I have one just like it for my stockpot that is smaller and if fits in the lowest slot just fine with my tip below. TIP FOR LIDS WITH THESE CABINET-TYPE HANDLES: I found with my one stockpot lid that if I try to set it in the slot with the handle vertical, it leans too far forward and is not stable. When I turn it so the handle is horizontal and then slide the lid a bit to the right or left so that it sits with one side of the handle down in the handle groove, it has a snug fit all the way down and does not lean forward. With this kind of lid, there will only be one slot with a perfect fit for each lid (which is o.k. if you have a complete set from small to large.) It's made of a very sturdy, thick steel. While it states chrome and not stainless steel, I don't see the difference between my more expensive stainless steel items. Not all chrome is equal and there is a higher quality out there with better performance. I believe that is the quality this has been made with. With it's special scratch-resistant coating, I'm hoping it lasts a very long time.

So this was an easy buy for me and I believe for most people ...
So this was an easy buy for me and I believe for most people it might not be however, my kitchen is not the grandest of all, it’s cute, quaint and absolutely adorable, I LOVE IT, but still sometimes is does lack in the space that I require for certain products I have in my kitchen and to make my life easier this time I bought the "Organize it All Cabinet Door Lid Rack" with the chrome finish off of Amazon.com for $11.99 and once again this is a product I love! Today was my first day actually setting up and using this product. It did come only in plastic and it didn’t have any instructions with it although it did come with the screws required to attached it to your cabinet door. Honestly it’s so straight forward though, any one could set this up. My only problem was that the smaller set of screws that came with the product were not short enough for my cabinet doors, now just to be clear; this doesn’t have to go inside a cabinet, you can attach this to a wall or inside the cabinet basically anywhere a screw can fit! What I love about this product is that My lids are not the same as the photo and yet they work perfect, I literally just have to tilt them slightly and the product worked amazing. However, some of the other review people said they had trouble with lids that were not the same as the one in the photo. Now this could happen to you but I would say still try this product out if you need to free up space, it’s worth it! Honestly my pots and pan cabinet was overflowing that just freeing up a little space by attaching this gadget to the door made my life so much easier and on top of that, now I don’t have to pull every pan & lid I have out of the cabinet to get a lid, they are right there for me, in plain sight. How AMAZING! I highly recommend this product and give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. On Amazon.com it was rated 4 stars, so basically me and the rest of the world agree on this product!!

Saves space and good price if used with certain lids
I wanted this lid rack to work for me but my smallest lid is too small and falls right through the opening. I have a Cuisinart stainless steel pot set with metal lids but the handles are not round. The rack still works with lids that have narrow handles but I do think it would be better for lids with round handles. A couple of other things that I did not like about the rack was when I put some of my Cuisinart glass lids in it, I had to take out the lid at the bottom in order to get to the lid above it. My glass lids are thicker than my metal lids. The other thing I didn't like is that the metal lids leaned forward away from the lid rack. I could push them back against the rack but they easily fell toward the other direction. Bottom line: I like the space saving idea of this lid rack and if you have the right kind of lids then it's a great buy.

Installed lid rack on inside left wall of cabinet
I am very happy with this lid rack/holder. I read all of the reviews and decided to install it on the left inside wall of the cabinet. I only used the top screw and made sure to push the rack down to rest on the cabinet floor. I used the shortest screw and it did come very close to coming out the other side of the cabinet wall. It is doing a great job of holding my stainless steel pot lids. I lost a very minimal amount of cabinet space. It seems sturdy enough and holds my handles in nicely. I think this was one of the best organizing items I have added to my kitchen. I was so sick of lids falling all over. Now they are easy to grab! BTW - my cookware is Kirkland Stainless Steel.

Works only for some lids
Works good for lids. Small to medium does not work on large lids.

Great idea!
Despite having a kitchen with custom-made storage space for all kinds of things, somehow I ended up with no effective place to store everyday pot lids. They always seemed to end up taking up valuable shelf space and crashing to the floor when I tried to get to other items on the shelf. Other than special glass lids for a few unique pots and pans, I have 6 stainless steel lids, 3 big and 3 small. Imagine how happy I was to find a rack like this that seems perfect for those lids. AND I have the inner side of a pantry door that was begging to be used effectively. Bingo. When the rack first arrived I tested it with each and all of the lids. They all fit, um, in a way but some were too thick to fit comfortably. The beauty of this rack is that the individual wires can be bent inward or outward so that each lid fits perfectly. Little accessories like this are supposed to make one's life easier. This was true for me. The lid rack is right near the stove and it is easy to remove and replace each lid as I need them. I won't take away any stars for it but my preference was the plastic coated white rack that they used to sell, but by the time I got around to ordering it was discontinued. I don't care about looks because it is in a pantry but the plastic coated wire would have been a little quieter when removing/replacing lids. Not a big deal, I supposed having a chrome rack with stainless steel lids is actually more attractive.

Absolutely Thrilled!
This rack is very sturdy and looks very nice indeed. I have heavy glass/metal calphalon cookware and was worried that I would not find something to hold it all. I had absolutely no trouble getting my big, heavy lids into this rack. It does hold 6 lids without any problem. Don't hesitate if you need one of these - this is the one to get! It is compact and low profile, so it fits very nicely mounted inside my cabinet on the wall. I ordered 2 and have one on each side of a rather large cabinet. The measurements given in the description are exactly correct. I could not be happier. It really helped to clean up the mess I had going on.

Solid space saver!
Mounted to the inside of a cupboard door, this rack has added the finishing touch to space-saving and organizing in my kitchen. Solid enough to hold my biggest glass and cast-iron lids just as easily as a few silicone covers.
