We call Better Than Bouillon BTB. Add one spoon of BTB to meat in the crock pot for the best pot roast. Simple and tastes great. I cook this for 12 hr in a slow cooker. Very simple, meat and BTB, done. Yea, it is also a good soup.

I love using these bouillons for soups, marinades and gravies. They have so many uses and are extra flavorful. I am still experimenting about the the amounts that give the "just right" flavor - not too much, not too little. If you are not careful, you can go overboard. I definitely recommend it. I have not used the the Garlic Base Bouillon yet. We have not had that available to us locally. The one disappointment was that it was only an 8 oz jar which I failed to notice when I was ordering. We use it a lot so I bought a second one for a gift. Again, failed to notice that it was an 8 oz jar. I normally buy a 16 oz jar and never even noticed the ounces before. I just knew it was a large jar and was unaware of the smaller sizes. This is one of the tastiest bouillons I have ever used! Go for it and enjoy!

If you want to check out the different flavors without getting the bigger sizes to see which one you like better, this is a nice set to get. I get the bigger bottles at Costco, much cheaper for a LOT more than what you can get here so far. Only thing is, they don't have the bigger roasted garlic, which I used pretty much 80% of the time for what I cook. These make a difference in flavor, you won't regret it. Just don't go to town with it, it can get a little too salty if you use too much.

Outstanding alternative to Bullion, less sodium than most other brands and a deeper flavor. Flavor mellows with long simmering and melds to become a secondary note in a dish with stronger flavored content.

This product is so wonderful. I don’t even know how to describe it. I have ordered this, and I absolutely have not been disappointed with the flavors or the reasons that I use it in different things like suits and gravy and just simply to flavor. A lot of things I definitely will re-order this again when I need it.
