Got this game for my 7 year old's birthday. He's a cat lover and loves Clue Jr. We love this game because of the ease of play and the quick reset for next game. We also love that you can play solo or with 2 players, unlike many games that require 3+ to be enjoyable; making it a fun pick for only children or small families. The puzzles are a great introduction to logic and critical thinking for young minds. The game makes a great visual for learning"if-then" conditional statements. The only downside would be the replay value once you inevitably make it through the deck of cards. But I think the learning value as a teaching tool is worth the cost. If the game designer ever came out with expansion packs of the cards, or downloadable puzzles, that would keep the value higher.

I loved that this is something my grandson can play by himself, he’s an only child. His father and I can also play it with the more challenging situations. It really helps him with his deductive reasoning skills. The cats are adorable too! You can pick it up and play one card and be done, or do multiple scenarios. Nice thing to do together away from screen time.

We got this for my son on a whim for Christmas one year, and it turned out to be one of his favorite presents. It's super easy to set up, fun to play, and packs up easily, so it's great for vacations and getaways where you may need a game to keep your family entertained during bad weather. My only caveat is that there are only so many scenarios in the game, so once you've played it a lot, there's no real way of extending the play life, as you'll remember the answers to all the puzzles eventually.

Fun game for our family. Our 9 year old really enjoys playing and has brought it out to play with friends.

This is a fun, whimsical, yet challenging logic puzzle. My children's teacher has it in her classroom, and I decided to buy it for home. The quality is sturdy, the board and pieces are nicely decorated, and the concept is engaging and challenging. At first the challenges seemed straightforward and easy, but by the second level, even the adults had some difficulty solving some of the challenges. This is a cute idea, which has been nicely executed.

I didn't realize that this was a single player game. I mostly bought it because the cats looked adorable LOL! But, I have really been enjoying this strategy game. It is actually harder than. It seems, it took me 3 nights to get through all the beginner cards. I like how the cats sit at a slight angle when placed correctly. I also love that this game has spots for all the pieces, so if it gets turned upside down everything doesn't get messed. The drawings are adorable and the pieces are all made from high quality card board. Be careful if you have hard wood floors that it is easy to lose pieces of the stands for the cats for several days in plain sight. Great game or gift for cat lovers!

We were gifted the Dog Crimes, so when I found out there was a Cat Crimes, I knew I had to have it. It’s great for thinking logically.

Sooo I totally missed the fact that this was a single player game when I purchased it BUT I actually ended up liking it for that. My just turned 8yo can do the easy cards on her own but it’s also fun to work together as a team with the harder cards. There are 40 different challenge cards separated into three levels of difficulty. And unless you have a photographic memory, over time, the cards can easily be played more than once. They start off VERY simple and get increasingly more difficult and require you to go back and reread the clue over again or switch up your original cat clue placement. I was really impressed with the quality of the game prices as well. Very sturdy for not being plastic and super easy set-up. My daughter loves mystery/detective stuff so this game is perfect for her when she needs to fill some non-electronic down time but we also had fun playing it together.

Our extravert daughter loves taking herself away and playing this game by herself! Perfect challenge and educational level that builds in difficulty. We love how it makes her think logically!

Fun game suitable for all ages. Easy enough for a four year old with a bit of guidance. A great game to stimulate the mind. Game pieces are made of thick cardboard. Hope it lasts!

Lots of fun and I hadn’t realised how good it is for practice for the 11+ exams which have questions similar to this.
