Top of the line
Waring Commercial TBB145P6 TORQ 2 Horsepower Blender, 2 speed Toggle Switch Controls, with 64 oz. BPA Free Container, 120V, 5-15 Phase Plug, Black, I'm a fan of warring because over the years that I have owned their products I find them very reliable and last a long time with constant use, I find this blender to be right up there with the best of them. this is a no nonsense machine that does the job

Amazing unit
Had second thoughts on getting this blender as I had a kitchen aid prior, all I can say is that this blender is bar quality. The first time I used it on a mixed drink I let it run for 10 seconds and turned the ice into snow...this blender makes amazing smoothies as it crushes anything frozen you put in the unit.It cleans up quickly and I am very pleased with it.

Great blender
Superb product. It is very solid and well built. We use daily for making juices with vegetables, fruits, and herbs... it blends them flawlessly and quickly. Appreciate the simple manual controls. Although perhaps the blender is a tad expensive for home use, we've found it well worth the price. Highly recommend.

Powerful Motor But Jar Leaks Badly (SEE PHOTO)
I purchased this blender with the toggle switches in March-2019 along with the 48 oz. stainless steel blending jar. (Purchased from a restaurant supply website). The motor is very powerful which is capable of obliterating anything. However, 3 months later the jar started leaking in between the stainless steel and the black, cast aluminum base of the container. The 2 pieces of metal are glued together with a silicone adhesive so there is no way to get in there to clean it out. I used my blender primarily for smoothies so you can imagine how gross the leakage became over time. Also, Waring does not make or sell replacement gaskets or blade assemblies for this model. I was told that the container cannot and should not be taken apart. After contacting Waring about the leak, they sent me a replacement and asked for the defective one to be sent back to them. Within 2 months the replacement began leaking, worse then the first one. I tried holding the container under running water in the sink to flush out the smoothie ingredients that had seeped in between the jar and base. It was then that the entire metal base fell off into the sink. A skinny strip of silicone glue was all that was holding it together. I barely had a dozen uses from this blender before the jar was rendered completely useless. I briefly considered buying the 64 oz. jar to replace it but worried it would have the same issue. Instead I'm going back to using a Vitamix with their new stainless steel container. The Waring Torq 2.0 is a serious disappointment and waste of money.
