Reese Towpower 7006600 Trailer Hitch Coupler Lock

We've had problems with people fooling around, trying to steal our trailer or messing with the hitch, hoping we'd lose the trailer while towing. Now, this simple, effective lock, all that has stopped. Works great!

I loved how easy this was to use. I wanted to make sure the boat hitch wouldn’t get opened and this worked perfectly. Locked that hitch lever down and there isn’t any room for someone to use anything to open it, not enough gap. Fits tightly.

I bought a Master coupler lock that didn't have the open end as this one does. It wouldn't fit around the coupler lock width, as this one does. This is the style to get for coupler locks. It's sturdy, and secures my trailer. Since coupler hasps are variable, you need a lock like this to ensure it fits different sizes. Pleased with the value.

Fits well and easy to open.Originally I wanted this to be a single turn of key to open and then click back like a master lock.Only downside is the lock is screwed closed using the key. This can be a little tough if you put your key with a big bunch of others on a ring.All works well however and worth it

I use this as a trailer hitch lock on a dual PWC trailer. It's gets exposed to the elements and saltwater.It hasn't failed and many before did almost immediately. It's a minimal security lock but it does work.

I bought this as a lock for my RV tongue. It fits well. It's nice, but looks a little on the cheap side. It's probably an import. I liked to idea of a keys lock instead of the pickable round cylinder lock. Overall it seems to perform well and the stainless steel is always a good idea, but I eventually opted of a more weather proof, stronger lock from Master instead. Remember that a tongue lock does not prevent the theft of your RV by itself. Yes, it may be a deterrent, but one simple has to use your chains to haul your locked RV away. The only good way to prevent theft is to attach a device on the wheel of your RV to make it impossible to move. Yes, if someone really wanted your RV and had enough time, they could remove even a tire clamp, but it's much harder than stealing an Rv with just a simple tongue lock.

It looks like it would be harder to break than other designs, especially given the great price!
