Works nicely, and I'll update the review in the future ...
**Edit 9-4-18** I've been using this for 4+ months, nearly every day to charge my e-bike battery pack. Works great, and has a number of safety features built in. I have, however, modified it some (and voided any warranty I'm sure) so that instead of the alligator clips (jumper cable-style) I wired a standard household receptacle (outlet) and mounted it to this charger box. On the other end (the e-bike) I wired a standard 2 prong electrical cord to the battery packs terminals, allowing a much simpler plug & charge solution.Using this to charge my homemade 48V SLA battery pack (4x 12V, 10Ah) for my e-bike. Works nicely, and I'll update the review in the future with longevity comments (if any).

Over Charged - Failed to taper and trickle - Ruined my Batteries
I actually rated it 5 stars when I first used it .But, after charging my batteries for the sixth time I say 2 stars (ruined my batteries) all the batteries were extremely overcharged swollen and hot when I checked it after usual 2 hrs ! One battery split open and leaked acid on my bike frame and dribble acid in the screwhole of the waterbottle holder don't know if any got inside !! I charged for 3.5hrs and expected the trickle to kick in afterwards. It didn't!! It charged great for 4 times before and went into trickle. My (4) 12v 10a batteries were reading close to 55.2v!! The charger was still flashing the bar as 50% charged . This was definitely the version for a 48v Lead Acid battery It definitely does charge BUT I will contact the vendor for a refund or at least another one to try . I assume the typical Crappy Chinese electronics FAILED as usual. Don't know why I bother to buy this crap . It would really be nice if they made a charger here in the US with good reliable electronics from Motorola or some known brand I'd pay extra . Vendor - If you read this please contact Me.

Simplified charging.
Unit makes it easier to charge batteries with out removing them from my ebike. I use three 12v in series for 36v. Just unhook leads from controller and charge all three batteries at the same time.

This is perfect for a scooter that is not charging through portal. Just connect to batteries and it charges. The charging light display is another good feature to have. This solved my problem i had with an electric scooter I have.

Perfect charger for Razor 48v conversion
Bought the 48V charger for my kids razor. Works perfect. Charges till full then goes into maintenance mode. Battery clips are nice and strong. Wiring is well made and the charger has LED indicators to show charge capacity.

Works great on Cruzin Cooler
This was purchased to charge a 36V Cruzin Cooler that went through a couple of replacement chargers. Due to the battery layout, I needed to connect one lead to the battery and the other to a blade terminal on the main harness (see picture) IF you are having charging issues on your cooler, charging the batteries directly is the way to go.

Works
Charging a combo of two 12v in series just fine, works as described in instructions. Leads are a little short, but length of power cord and combined leads are good.
