We used the Luna Bean Baby Footprint and Hand Cast together for our baby, and it was such a meaningful experience. The kit was easy to use, and the details came out beautifully. You can see every tiny line in the hand and foot prints. The materials felt solid and high quality, and once it set, it looked like a professional keepsake. It’s made of plaster but durable. It hasn’t cracked or degraded and still looks great on display. More than anything, it’s something we’ll always cherish as a memory from when our baby was so small. Loved this casting kit! It worked perfectly! And easy to use. Definitely recommend doing with a newborn and not when they’re older. I waited a little too long with my baby so I had to redo it a few times because she moved while it was molding. It would be a perfect gift for a new mom! A beautiful memory to be able to hold onto

This product was so awesome for my baby. The value is great for getting 4 molds in one package. The directions are very straight forward and easy to use. The durability of the completely mold is like a rock. It formed my baby’s hands so perfectly.

This is such an easy way to capture and preserve your babies little hands and feet! The written directions were very easy to follow and there is a video that shows you step by step what to do. It was much easier and quicker than I expected. Only took about 7 minutes from starting to mix the mild to it being fully harden. I put a little oil on my babies hands and feet like the directions suggested and was easily able to remove them without ruining any of the molds. I would suggest doing this when your baby is in a deep sleep to prevent them from moving while the mold is drying. The only reason I gave this 4 stars was because there are still a large amount of air bubbles in the foot even though I did what the directions said to do to prevent them. Overall such a great buy to have this memory frozen in time.

This comes with 2 casting sets. This was incredibly easy to use! It comes with written instructions as well as a link to a video! It was very simple and fast to do!!

This is not as easy as they make it seem. We wasted two of the four kits just trying to figure it out. One never set in time and baby woke up and moved around, and the other one he was asleep but not sleeping deeply enough and kept moving as it was setting, so the shape inside of the mold was deformed. Baby has to be completely asleep in order to stay still enough to wait for it to dry. It doesn’t dry very quickly, and when you’re waiting until they’re sleeping then you have to have their limb at an angle that lets it set without pouring out. It does come off the skin easily, especially with a bit of oil on first, but it is very easy to get it onto clothes, which it does not come off as easily, so make sure that baby is either not wearing clothes or wearing a small shirt, and even then it’s possible to get it on the clothes if they happen to move at all.

I did three of these in one night, and have a few tips for ya: 1. The first mix sets REALLY fast. We ended up having to chuck the first cup because it got chunky while we were still mixing. Mix faster than you think you need to, tap it on the counter a few times to disperse bubbles, and get that baby's hand/foot in there quick! 2. Set about a tablespoon of the casting powder aside for later. 3. Once the hand/foot has been taken out, mix the casting powder almost as fast, tap it on the counter a little bit harder, and then pour it slowly and smoothly to avoid bubbles in the cast. 4. Leave it overnight. Five hours was not enough, it was still very damp and fingers broke off very easily. I ended up putting them in a huge bowl of rice for a day (I'm in florida, so maybe we can blame the humidity - I'm not sure) 5. Once its dry, youll have to use the sandpaper to smooth lots of things out - between the fingers, bumps, etc. I also ended up using a few nail files and a dremel. 6. If you have tiny bubbles on the surface, mix the rest of the casting powder and use a tiny brush to fill them. They will still need to be lightly sanded after they dry. 7. If you are doing multiple kids, be really careful that they are put into the first mixture at the same angle and to close to the same amount of depth on the back of their hand/wrist. One kid put their hand in about and inch and a half deeper than the other two, and it took me forever to get it sanded down to the same size (i put them in a shadow box, so i should have throught about that beforehand!) The bottom is what came out, and the top was my end result after the extra work. Bad pictures, but a really awesome gift!!

This was really fun, but do know you have to catch your baby at the right time.. We waited until she was sleeping and slid her to the edge of the bed and had her legs laying off the edge of the bed into the bucket to sit for 3 minutes. It comes with sand paper and everything to make it perfect, there will be bubbles, so you will need to sand them out. We just didnt want her to move and mess it up, so if you can do what we did it will make it easier.

Turned out great. There were instructions in the package and we followed them and everything turned out perfect. I ended up doing two feet in one mold and it was great! You need more sand paper to get the ended better but that’s my only complaint.

The person we went to for our first for casting wasn't open anymore and everyone else was so far away. My husband decided to do the casting himself and surprisingly it came out pretty good, would definitely buy and try again.

Pretty easy to make! Just need to make sure the baby is in a deep sleep and doesn’t move around.

Turned out amazing, straight forward instructions. I was a little hesitant at 1st since I messed up the first 2 times but with different brands. This was by far the easiest of them👍
