Time will tell if the these last like I hope. For the price I think it’s a good bet.

Product description is not true "Battery works with Sony original charger". I cannot recommend this product. My Sony BC-TRX charger will not charge this battery. I bought 4 "Wasabi Power NP-BX1 Battery" - all of them will not charge. The orange LED starts blinking immediately, indicating "faulty battery". All of my 5 original Sony NP-BX1 charge just fine, no issue. The issue is not limited to Sony's charger. I also have a Hahnel Procube charger with NP-BX1 inset; the Wasabi batteries will charge in this one but there is something unusual with the charging indicator - it remains at 98% for more than an hour. Again: Same charger, no problem with the original Sony NP-BX1 batteries.

One important add on component is replacement and extra batteries. Wasabi makes some good affordable batteries that are very good backup batteries. I've been using them and surprised by how long they will take a charge. It is hard to say they are equal to the big brand name batteries that cost two to ten times more in cost. The bottom line is they work well as a supplement or replacement battery at an excellent price making them an excellent backup battery. Batteries no matter how expensive or high quality just don't last forever. Why spend extra when you can get a good value battery in the Wasabi brand.
