This was returned. I spent several hours unsuccessfully trying to connect this projector via Bluetooth or WiFi and was never able to get anywhere. I could see my network but could not join - no matter how I stood on my head. Bluetooth would search and search and search but never find anything to pair to. I went to the Auking website tech support and googled looking for help from others but no suggestions I found worked for me, and I saw a lot of reviews from others who had the same issues. Ultimately I decided to simply try using a USB jump drive to see if I could just simply load an image. This was another incredibly tedious and non-intuitive process just to get to the point where the device even recognized there was a drive mounted. Once I got there, the steps to just select one image again was quite a pain. I was able to get one photo to finally load, and as I marveled at that accomplishment I noted the super-poor resolution on my wall that I could not improve with the focus controls or by moving the projector. I couldn’t imagine ever being able to watch a movie on this thing! In the end I didn’t have to think too long about that because without warning the thing reverted to its start-up screen and set me back to ground zero. I’m not a technology idiot, so at first I was determined to figure this thing out, as there somehow are a whole bunch of happy owners. But in the end I gave up trying and decided I got what I paid for. It’s cheap and showed it. I will say however that it had very impressive packaging (think Apple aesthetic) and when I first began to open the box it really raised my expectations. Very disappointing, and grateful for Amazon’s return policy. I should also note that the very minimal instruction booklet that came with this - as well as a separate sheet of paper floating on the top of the packaging - both stated if you have any trouble to contact Auking directly. I chose not to wade further into the water once I saw how poor the image quality actually was - regardless of the connectivity, so I did not. UPDATE: While I stand by my review of my own unsuccessful experience with this product, I need to mention here the most incredible response from AuKing one day after this review was published. They reached out directly to me apologizing and making a sincere offer to make things right with either a full refund or a free upgraded replacement unit. They were sincerely trying to make things right. But I had already moved on by buying a different unit so another one was not needed. I just wanted to highlight this company's immediate response so any other potential buyers might consider this if they should have any issues with their units. In today's anonymous world, I found this. company, AuKing, to be remarkable in their efforts to show they care about their customers. For this if I could rate them 6-stars I would!

I wish I could express in words how bad this projector is but I can't. I don't even believe the pictures I have included can show the whole picture. Here are the observed disasters: 1. This projector is nowhere near the luminosity advertised. The image at 3 meters (10ft) is dim and of uneven brightness. The image is almost readable in the center and darkens as it goes out. It is by no means acceptable even at the center though 2. The projector optics are a joke. if the projector is even 80cm (or 2.5ft) away from the center line, 2/3ds of the image is severely out of focus (besides being dimm. Simply unreadable. 3. The manual and information given are almost ok, but with PC wireless instructions completely useless. I will not comment on the grammar since it is a Chinese produced manual so what can you expect. I'm an aerospace engineer with a PhD in Experimental Aerodynamics so I know my way around hardware and software. They say that you get what you pay for, so for me to be so disappointed for a purchase at this price should say something. This is a useless device. It will simply not make you happy, unless you mount it 5ft from a wall, keep it exactly parallel to that wall (so no table or ceiling. I hope you have a tripod) and only good for projecting cartoons to kids. If you want this for anything else.... run away. Images: 1. Note in the first image how much difference there is in luminosity between the center and ends 2. Note that this is quite close to the projection screen (2.8m) 3. Note in the second image that even in this very simple configuration, the image is almost readable on the top, and completely out of focus by the bottom

This is a nice projector, especially for the price. It’s easy to use, quite portable, attaches to a tripod, and has vertical keystone adjustment. It has 2 HDMI and 2 USB-A inputs, and a headphone jack. Most importantly, the image is reasonably in focus and vivid; see photo.

Is this the best projector out there? No, but for the price I'm very satisfied with the quality and function. I tested this thing to its absolute limits: lettering on a 22 foot wide wall. Is this projector made for that? Once again, no, but it handled it like a champ! It was very easy to connect my tablet and put up the picture I needed. The connection stayed solid the whole time (and we're talking hours of continuous use). The quality in the advertised optimal area is great, overall clear and sharp with the exception of the corners. The farther you push it obviously the worse the quality is and the less bright it is, but if you're looking to use this to watch movies at night that aren't 22 feet wide it'll get the job done for a good price. In terms of entertainment value this thing is hard to beat. I love the remote and the tripod mount too.

I use a Google pixel phone and I wish it was more clear on stating that this projector does not work with Google devices, unless you plug a Google Chromecast into it. Which still doesn't work because I only wanted to use my phone with it.
