Works great! Automatically connects and now I don’t have to mess around with a cord that only works half the time. Would purchase again. It’s also smaller than I expected which is great.

I have purchased three of these so for. One for a late model Mercedes, one for a late model cheap, and one for a two for gifts: An older model Ford, F250 with an aftermarket stereo. My experience, so far has been stellar. I literally plugged and played (accepted pairing) in the Mercedes and it worked. It took a little bit of effort to figure out the Uconnect app in the Jeep - more the issue was finding Car Play within the UConnect app. Pretty much plug and play in the Ford. I waited a couple of months to review since I see others had issues after time, but none for me so far. I can’t compare with any other brands. I will update if heat in my hot summer climate becomes an issue later.

I bought this unit as a Christmas present for my wife (but just as much for me!). Our 2020 KIA Sorent has Carplay that requires a wire. It only took about five minutes (or less) to connect her phone. Everything worked perfectly. My concern was what happens when I get in the car. I was very pleased when I discovered that the unit connected to my phone just as easily and without any conflict. When we both ride in the car, one of us has to turn off Bluetooth, depending on who will use Carplay. I have Bluetooth earphones, so I typically turn off my Bluetooth until my wife's phone connects, then turn my Bluetooth back on to connect with my earphones without any problem. We have only used it for a couple of days, so some problem may come up later, but at least for now, the unit works as promoted and I am very pleased I don't have to use a wire!

Works perfectly in our 2023 Kia Sorento. Setup was quick and painless, and wireless CarPlay connects reliably every time. It even handles multiple phones smoothly when my wife and I are both in the car, switching without issues. Music, maps, calls, and Siri all work exactly as expected. Simple, solid, and does exactly what it promises. Highly recommend.
