As advertised. Right price and shipping was fast
I used this item with a oil temp sensor on thw side of my transmission. I did have to drill the hole bigger to accept the temp sending unit. The walls are a little thin but works for my application.

No pipe thread taper
It will not seal, the thread will bottom out because there's little to non taper to the pipe thread
