Hasbro Hasbro Gaming Rubik's 3X3 Cube, Puzzle Game, Classic Colors

I ordered this cube last week and it got here pretty quickly. After 3 days of using it I noticed that the pivot on the blue face was looser than the rest of them. I looked online about how to fix it and found out that I could pry the tile face off to get to the screw under it. This only caused me to scratch up the tile face so I gave up not wanting to damage the cube too much. The next morning I was using it when it exploded in my hands. The entire blue row fell apart. I decided to give prying the tile off one more try since it would be broken regardless. I was able to get it off and screw the center blue piece back on. I then attached the rest of the pieces which took some time. I find it somewhat unacceptable that this cube broke after only 3 days of normal wear and tear. Definitely won't be buying another one when this one eventually breaks completely.EDIT***It has been about 4 years after my initial review and purchase and I can honestly say that this rubix cube is just fine. I think I may have got a defective model initially which caused it to break. It has never had an issue since the original incident and works just fine. If you are looking to buy a rubix cube then this model will do just fine.

I got this item just in time for my head cold to arrive and be stuck sick at home in bed rest figuring how to solve it LOL! Best distraction ever! Great quality. To this day (a month later) I'm still trying to figure out how to solve the last layer. I did it once using the web. I'm in no rush at all. I carry it all over in my purse/backpack. My dad and son (6yo) plays with it too! Anyway if you're looking for a great way to pass time or maybe develop analytical Rubik's cube skills, bust out the cube. Down time at work, bust out the cube. Boss gives you a last minute project to work on, bust out the cube before conquering it. Boss baby having a melt down, bust out the cube. Need to learn to be more patient, bust out the cube. You know what, just bust out the cube! You won't regret it (unless you're really impatient then this will test you).

Well a friend told me about a sale on this so I bought another one. Now I have 2 of them, but I can practice different places. These new cubes turn much smoother than my old one, and the side colors are plastic inserts instead of stickers.I still have an old cube, and a solution book from back when I was a kid and they first were released. I learned a method back then that I still use, it is a "beginner" method but works for me. I am not the fastest at it, but usually can solve it completely in about 1:30 or so.One of my co-workers started studying speed methods, and he has got his solve times down to under 50 seconds sometimes, that is crazy fast. This is a nice cube and worth the price.
