Mimi's Tales of Terror (Junji Ito)

You can't beat the price for this Ito classic. Hardbound, nice cover. Highly detailed and a beautiful manga.

レトロな絵柄が怖い雰囲気に合ってます。英語もそんなに難しくなく、高校生レベルでも読めると思います。他の作品は読んだことないのですが、この本はそこまで過激なホラーではないです。

Great price and collection of urban horror stories.

Junji Ito has adapted a selection of short stories from a series of books called “New Earmuffs” in Japanese. It’s a great intro to the works of other authors while staying in Junji Ito’s familiar style. I would really like to read the original stories now, but my Japanese skills aren’t up there yet. I bought this English edition heavily discounted (87% off!). I found one spelling error in the whole book. I can’t imagine any other reason for the discount. It doesn’t impact the book negatively, so grab the discounted version while you can! It’s rare to find a translated manga in hardcover for under ¥1000. It’s a great way to start your collection.
