🌌 See the Moon like never before — don’t just observe, experience!
The SVBONY 2" Telescope Moon Filter is a premium optical accessory designed to enhance lunar and planetary observation by reducing glare and improving surface detail visibility. Featuring a durable anodized metal frame with double-threaded sides for stacking, it fits all standard 2-inch telescope eyepieces. Its selective light filtering blocks common streetlight wavelengths, delivering sharper contrast against the night sky. Ideal for amateur astronomers seeking clearer, more detailed views of the moon and planets.

The best I have ever viewed the moon and Jupiter.
Edit update 1/19/23: After my last star party at our club house a week ago, I used this filter on the 13 inch Dob we have to look at Jupiter. Wow what a view and a huge difference. This is the best personal view I ever had of Jupiter's cloud bands. Without this filter you had to strain your eyes to see any of the cloud bands even with a 13 inch telescope. Outstanding. Because I was using the 13 inch Dob Jupiter was so bright I actually suffered from white light glare. This Filter fixed all that. I can not say enough about of how good of a filter it is. Worth every penny. As an amateur astronomer for 50 years let me say up front that I was not (past tense) a fan of telescope filters. It was my old and probably out dated opinion that they block more incoming light than they show and are worth. However, I have many friends who love them and have many different eyepiece filters in their collection. So why did I buy this moon filter? Well because during a star party one of the our club members suggested it, while viewing a very bright half moon at the time. He told me that they have really improved. I can say first hand that he was right. While viewing the moon the glare was just about gone which allowed me to view much finer detail and make out very small craters that I was not able to view before the moon filter and the filter did this without being to dark. The old moon filter I had used forty years ago was useless and to dark so I never used it but this filter proved its worth I have liked every lens product I have purchased from SVBONY and this moon filter is no exception. Great products at great prices. My only con, as with all my SVBONY lens products, is there was no spec sheet for the moon filter. Very highly recommended.

Great light pollution filter.
Other companies call this "moon and sky glow filtet." It is meant fot light pollution and not just the moon. Great filter for astrophotagraphy, especially galaxies.

Good filter
Decent filter for the moon. I prefer to use the SVB220 instead.

Works great
Even though there was only review of this product, I decided to take a chance with this filter, and I am glad that I did. I was able to get crystal clear views of a full moon with this filter.

Very impressed with the quality of this filter! I have a Celestron Nexstar 130SLT and this is the first piece of extra equipment I’ve purchased for it and the moon looks absolutely stunnning through the filter!

Voy comenzando y es mi primer telescopio, obtuve el filtro y un lente 40 de Svbony con lo que se hizo más fácil observar la Luna y sus cráteres. Me parece un buen producto a precio accesible.

Astrophotography is expensive....and sometimes budget or entry level options wind up being a waste of money. However, SVBONY is a smaller company that sells a variety of Astonomy gear. SVBONY produces a filter that is well made and woks properly (meaning optical clarity is excellent) and it does so at a reasonable price. Highly recommended

A neutral density Moon filter is absolutely necessary if you are going to view the Moon through a telescope. Because telescopes by design gather and concentrate light, even the slimmest of crescents will seem incredibly bright in the eyepiece. A Moon filter simply "turns down the volume" of light entering your eye. You can make an argument for spending higher sums of money on H II, O III, or some other filters by purchasing from more premium brand names, but for a Moon filter used for primarily visual use the Svbony works as well as anything else.
