12Volt/30RPM DC Motor

Excellent little motor for the price. I used this for a motorized camera slider and it works well. It has quite a bit of torque - enough that you cannot stop it from turning with your fingers. It is a DC motor so it runs slower with less voltage. It ran at about 1/2 speed when I ran it with 4 AA batteries (6v). It has been running fine with hours of use at a time. If you are looking to get an slow speed or a variable speed motor, getting the right controller and motor together can be tricky. I used the "RioRand Upgraded 6V-90V 15A DC Motor Pump Speed Controller" with this motor and it works fine - on 6V or 12V. This allows you to control the speed from super slow to the full 30 RPM (when running it on 12v). And super slow up to 15RPM on 6V. It has two terminals at the back that you can clip wires onto or solder them on, if you reverse the wires the motor turns the other way. It also ships from within the USA so you don't have to wait weeks for this one to come from China. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

This is my second motor - very good product! STRONG GEARS! Low current (from one AA cell it takes just 18 mA with no load. from 12V , no load = 58 mA and 100 mA with BIG load). I got the motor from HOSSEN (Amazon) in 2 days to PA. METAL GEARS! Heavy gear box case. Turning pellets feed auger for my project stove (auger is 12" long only in PVC pipe). I am happy with this motor.

Used this motor for a woodwork project. Worked as described. Little bit noisy but a good motor. Had to return the first one I received as it was seized but once the replacement arrived, it worked away.

This project shares the 13.5 power supply for a Lepai LP-2020A+ Tripath TA2020 Class-T Hi-Fi Audio Amplifier with Power Supply , which is used with a 2 button toggle mode remote to control the Lepai power on/off and a mute relay. The prototype shown in the attached photos uses clear shipping tape to couple the motor to the Levolor tilter wand, which works fine, Heat shrink tubing would look a lot better. :)

I purchased this small motor to power a home-made device that had a 12 V DC power supply and required a relatively slow high torque motor, The NexTrox Mini fit these requirements perfectly and performed as I had hoped. It seems to generate very high torque and the DC powers allows me to easily vary the speed. Excellent product.

Tough little motor. I use it to pan left and right on a camera rig I built. I geared the ratio down to help with torque and smooth pans. Works without fault every time. Cheap, strong and reliable... solid purchase. I am sure I will be buying more from this company in the future.

Not as fast as I was looking for.

Works well. Easy to mount. I use it to scare pigeons away from the ground area below our bird feeders. Attached a 30" length of plastic hose so that it swings in a 60" circle, keeping pigeons away. Motor is driven by a driver using a random timing circuit. Running on 9V power supply.

in running the motors I identified that they are not even near specs on amperage or speed ! the motors if built with any quality control would ohm out the same, operate the same and drive at the same speed with the same voltage applied. This is not the case!! if you require a quality motor that follows spec this one is not for you. 60 RPM is actually 83 RPM at 12 VDC, on one motor and 95RPM on the next. great little motor is consistent Q.C. is not a priority.
