I looked at purchasing a more expensive chair and did try out some models that I felt would accommodate my size. I am 6'5 with a 35" inseam, and 235 lbs. Most chairs are designed with average build and when looking at big and tall chairs, they tend to lean on the big with over sized seat and wider dimensions than practical for taller people. I think I had read every review on Amazon about the chair and felt this model would likely fit my dimensions. I did not go and sit in the chair because the nearest distributor that I could find was in Austin, TX. which is about a 10 hour round trip. One reviewer mentioned that you should go and sit in the chair for fit and finish and I can't over emphasize how true the recommendation. Pros: 1. Comfortable to sit in for extended hours. Can adjust to fit most body sizes, although I don't have any medical issues such as i.e, bad back, or nerve issues. Was able to adjust to be somewhat comfortable, however not a perfect fit. 2. Fairly easy to assemble, the controls are ingenuous in design, therefore you are not searching for the control lever needed to make an adjustment. Solid construction and materials appear to be of good quality. Cons: 1. The arms are slightly too wide apart. They do angle to accommodate, but I find my arms are not resting at a natural angle. The detente in the arms should require more pressure to move as stated in other reviews. I accidentally move them when sitting, minor annoyance. 2. The seat does slide forward and back to give proper support to your thigh, but when moved fully forward you end up sitting on the hard edge on the frame on aft section of the seat. I do keep the seat as far forward as possible without hitting the frame, but that still leaves an 4 - 6" gap from the back of my knee to the edge of the chair which should be less than 1-3 " according to most ergonomic statements. For me I do need a longer seat or at least goes further back. However, the chair height is perfect, fully raised I am at the idea position for sitting at the desk which is raised for my height. 3. One component with other chairs that I wish this one had, is the ability for the seat to move as you tilt back or forward to keep good posture. 4. The mesh on the chair is somewhat tacky / sticky (for lack of a better word) when new, but get better as you break-in the chair. Conclusion: The chair is not a panacea for all, but has compromises that make it a good mid range chair for most. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase considering design, comfort and price point.

This chair broke within 3 months. it wont go up or down. like the chair but its already broken. for 700 you get 3 months. company hasn't gotten back to me when trying to reach them. for that avoid. the hassle UPDATE: July 11th 2025 Yesterday I received a new mechanism after contacting the company. After getting in contact with Eurotech. They asked for a video and receipt. Once I sent that, they promptly sent a replacement seat and mechanism. my chair is now fixed and I received a new seat. Had to update as to give credit where credit is due, Hopefully this one lasts.

This chair is made from sturdy polished aluminum, mesh and plastic parts. It's definitely going to last awhile. Even if it doesn't, there's a lifetime warranty on everything but the upholstery and foam. For those, the warranty is 5 years. The 'ergo' features of this chair were a disappointment for me, however: 1. The headrest can move up and down or tilt vertically, but it can't be moved forward for those times when you just want to sit back and watch a video or listen to music but still want to see your monitor instead of the ceiling. 2. The seat can be moved backward and forward, but can't be tilted up or down. Because of this, I'm unable to move pressure from my tailbone to my thighs and that results in soreness after awhile. 3. The mesh is strong and sturdy, but that prevents it from forming to my shape very well. As a result, it begins to feel hard and uncomfortable after only a short time. 4. The lumbar support appears to be separately adjustable from the pictures, but it's not. It is actually integrated with the backrest. The entire unit can be moved up and down, but you can't set the lumbar height independently. There are some things the chair does well: 1. All of the adjustment controls are easy to reach and to use. 2. Height adjustment is smooth and doesn't seem to sink over time. 3. The arm rests are comfortable and adjust up, down, or horizontally. 4. The casters are well-made and move smoothly over carpeting. If you're sensitive to odors, please note that this chair gives off a strong chemical smell when it is new. You may want to unpack and assemble it where there is plenty of ventilation. After nearly two months, the chemical smell is still noticeable in my chair. Overall, after spending over $600, I had hoped to be far more comfortable in this chair. I give the ME7ERG 5 stars for construction and 3 stars for comfort.

I have back issues and I use this chair every day as a college student. I spent a whole day walking around different stores/warehouses trying several high-end chairs and this was the one I felt was best. I have owned it for a few months now and I couldn’t be happier with it! The mesh/fibrous material is elastic and contouring and feels strong and durable. I love all of the adjustment options in the armrests and the seat and backrest. The steel frame also feels very solid and the wheels roll nicely on carpet which is a plus. I also feel great with this chair knowing that the warranty will cover any issues I may have. I would recommend for anyone wanting a highly customizable, ergonomic and aesthetic chair.

This is the most expensive desk chair that I have ever purchased and I absolutely love it. Yes, I would definitely buy it again. However, here's my pros & cons so you know what you're buying. PROS: - It's well built, and heavy duty construction. - Mesh ventilates my body very well. - Lots of positions and adjustment features. - Headrest is great. - Lower back support is awesome. - Price is just right. CONS: - My bottom rubs against the rear bar of the seat - Armrest suck really bad. - Doesn't recline far enough for a nap Yes I love this chair and it's worth every penny, I wish that I could purchase a whole new pair of ARMREST's as an upgrade option. The armrests that come with it, are "Just Okay" as they don't lock into position. Anytime I lean against the armrest, they shift out from under my body. Totally uncomfortable. I'm 5-9, 200 lbs, and I sit at my desk for 8 hours a day, usually.
